This number calls my phone multiple times a day. Never leaves a message and when I answer no one is on the other line.

Same as the others: I have no business with them and vice versa. I have filed complaints with the National No-Call Registry and the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm?sid=d1e37&id=d1e53

I am called twice a day, every day, they must be on east coast time, calling me at 6am, then again around 4pm, never leave a message from 240 210-7113, fu**ing annoying

These people call me atleast 10 times a day and on the answering machine they ask for a different person each time. Different first name and last name, and it's so annoying. I'm also on the Do Not Call List, but they still insist to annoy me. I called them up and I started asking questions and they wouldn't tell me anything, but they were a Debt Collecting company.

I returned the call to this number and It's RPM Collection agency or some foolishness. They were looking for someone named Julie. This is the second time I had to call back and ask for them to remove my number from their records. The guy on the phone is extremely rude I told the guy on the phone in a quiet tone if this happens again im reporting it because the number they call I use as business phone and I don't have time for this. He got upset and became even more rude and I ask why he became so defensive as If he knows he is in the wrong and trying to cover up and his response was "I'm not being rude or defensive im a naturally aggresive person". I figured hey since he but me in a irritated mood I'll do the same...towards the end he seem really upset and heated but I didn't care because I transfered all my irritation onto him and felt great!

The group calls daily asking to speak for a Mohammad. Rapidly they are told this person doesn’t live at the number and we don’t know anyone by that name. They also wanted to confirm the address that on file with the number that doesn’t match the number either.

They don't stop even when you tell them the person they are looking for doesn't live here.

Someone calls from this number all the time never answers, never leaves a message and just plain and simply harrases me how can I make them stop calling???

call them back at 800-618-6709 and hang up on them and see how they like it, it cost them 2.00 dollars every time

I called the number back just on a whim. It is RPM-- they said so when they answered the phone. They were calling for someone I've never met and have no idea who he is. They wanted me to give them a new contact number for him-- but how can I do that if I've never met him? The guy on the phone promised me that my number would be out of the system after 24 hours. We'll see.

Just like everyone else, this phone number calls me three, four times per day on my cell phone. Since I dont answer calls that I'm not familiar with, I just hit ignore. They never leave a message-- you would think that if it's that important they would at least leave a message. After reading all these posts, I just might answer and see what they say.

This guy says my wife owes them money on a dakota visa she has never had one. Seem like fishing to me. I talked once and told the wife to answer and finally she did he would not work iwth us next time I call the cops or legal councel.

They called and asked for someone that does not even live here. I told them not to call again and threatened them with legal action if they did.They have been calling several times a day and I finally picked the call up last night just to see what they wanted.

RPM, ReceivablePerf, Receivable Performance Management. Debt collectors which are bottom feeders as they try to collect past due debts that are well past the statute of limitations. Their website lists area codes 425 and 503 and they have both 866 and 888 numbers. I have no idea who they are paying for the 240 area code MD phone number. No doubt another scum sucker like themselves. If you are having trouble with them, keep track of the number of times a day they call as only 1 call is allowed whether or not they actually reach you. Then report them to the WA attorney general's office consumer affairs division.

These ****** bags are Receivables Performance Management (or RPM). I don't owe them any debt, the keep calling for someone who isn't even at this number, and kept on calling after I told them they have the wrong number. Putting them on call block is the only way to go because the only way to stop these debt collector harr***ers is to put them out of business.

Caller ID says "ReceivablesPerf" and no one speaks. Even though I enter these various numbers into call blocking, they start coming from new numbers.

Call the 1-800# i got an answer right away. I simply ask the operator how i can remove my number from there call list and the operator ask if i was somebody i never heard of and i replied no. The operator said they will remove my number and it was simple as that. Thanks for the information.

Caller ID says, "ReceivablesPerf" and no one speaks when answered. Hangs up when phone is answered. TWO WORDS: CALL BLOCKING. The best thing I ever did was get CALL BLOCKING on my telephone!

It is illegal for a debt collector to talk to anyone but the person the debt is connected to and it is illegal for a debt collector to tell a person to sell all of his or her belongings to pay for a debt. It is also illegal for a debt collector to threaten with jail time or court without a writ being served to the person once. And all debt including credit cards have a statue of limitations. The only debt that does not have a statue of limitations is educational debts. If a person gets a call for that kind of debt the government will have a record of the debt not a collection agency.

All of you should know the law regarding debt collection. First if you tell them they have to contact you by mail only they can NO longer call your #. Don't make arrangements to pay these jerks. They can legally only collect a debt for 7 years. And they can legal only mail you to collect if you so instruct them otherwise. Just tell them they are violating the fair debt collection practices act and they WILL stop calling you. Never give them another # to call. Tell them the only method of contact you authorize is by mail and they must follow your instruction. This is the LAW!!

RPM is a collection agency. 240-210-7113 comes up as a cell phone number from Waldorf, MD at whitepages.com . I found a 1-800 # for them and called back to find out who they were and what they wanted??? They WERE looking for me but by my maiden name which I have not gone by for over 12 years now. Of course  I lied and said they had a wrong number because by law collectors can not persue collection on a debt after 7 years. RPM is a collection agency.there is only one number that actually works 703-291-9039. they kept calling for someone that wasn't me. However I can tell you that the guy I spoke with told me that the numbers they have are pre recorded and it take about 24 hours for your number to be removed form that system. If you are someone though that they are looking for they don't ask for verification of who you are so you could just call and be someone else since they are rude and they would remove your name. I hope this helps you all.But they random numbers you get are from a pre recorded system but the number I listed above does put you through to someone. I have been getting calls from this number for a couple of months. Sometimes it is once a day, sometimes more than 5 a day. They are calling my work cell number, which I don't know how they got. I do not answer it when I'm at work and do not carry the phone while at home. I did finally get through calling back once and found out it was a debt collector of an old bill I had. The woman was extremely rude and demanded I make some kind of payment arrangements immediately. I explained to her that I would have to talk to my husband to find out what we could afford. I also clearly told her to no longer call my work cell number and gave her my home number. She reported she would call at a precise time that evening to discuss arrangements. She did not call. I did not hear anything for a few days, and now they are back to calling my work cell phone at least three times a day. I am still refusing to talk to them until they call my home number!!!

This guy keeps calling, even after I pick up and let him know no one by that name was here, he kept hanging up to just call back later. He even called past the time you can call by law here in Texas. I was so ****ed off after the last hang up that I looked up the company. The company's name is Receivables Performance. I googled them and found their main phone line which is 1-866-212-7408. I called them, spoke to a guy and told him what was going on. He made a report of it and promised I would never get called again because there is now a report next to my number that says don't call. So if you guys are sick of this ******* calling and being a unprofessional jerk, give the company a call and let them know they need to fire this guy! Hope I helped!

Got a call from this number and answered and got deal silence.  It was just before 6:00 PM in the evening.  Dead silence until the hang up on their end!

These people call at all hours of the day & night. My husband & I have received serveral calls from 12am-3am from these people! From August 10th-August 17th, these people have called a total of 13 times,so far. They've only called once today (so far). I've answered the call but as soon as they hear me say hello, they hang up.

I talked to the individual that demanded I pay $800 for a credit card my husband had over the phone. I asked for a address to send money to.  I told him that my husband has not been at the address he stated for quite some time and that this was the first I received phone calls.  He HUNG UP ON ME.  He stated he would write refusal to pay and would have my husbands wages garnished.

First time I picked up I got someone and they asked for Elaine...told them I didn't know the person they hung up and stopped calling, for a week. They started up again, I called back and once again they asked for Elaine...I said I didn't know her and they stopped calling again...for a week. Now they've picked up their call rates from the original 2 times a day, to 3 or 4. Since this morning they've called me 9 times, and I expect it to reach double digits before I go to bed tonight. Calling back doesn't help, neither does picking up the phone. In truth it may just make them call more, be warned.

Hey these guys(fools) call from 866-212-7408 also, it is RPM and they are really rude and quite ignorant.  I had to curse this one girlie dude out, he tried to get smart with me, he called my house I didn't ask him to call me, then he calls back 2-3 times after I hung up on him, I would love to see if he(she) is that bold outside his playwork.

Received 4 calls over the last 2 days. Finally when I answered they were looking for my son who moved away 7 yrs ago.They would not state the nature of the call. I asked to be removed from the calling list and the said it was automatically generated...It came up "Wireless" on my caller ID

Desperate bottom-feeding losers, unemployable in any other field, who buy up old debt (often past the statute of limitations) and break consumer laws trying to coerce people into paying.The best thing is to ignore them, or if you are determined to answer when they call (advice: don't) make sure that you tell them at the start that you are recording the call.  They'll go nuts and hang up on you.Never pay a company like this ANYTHING!!!  If you do, they can sell the account to another company and never give you credit for having paid anything.  Then, you're stuck and there is nothing you can do about it.  They just rip you off.

Calls about 2 times a day for the past 6 months. Asks for a Leroy Moreland. Informed them that no one by that name lived with me. They called me a liar. Informed them that my number was a cell phone number and maybe it belonged to him back then. Again, they called me a liar.

They said they were from RPM, and asking for someone that was not me, and then were very rude. One guy's name was Calvin. I called back 4 times and it appeared that there were only 2 people working the phones. That is to say, Calvin, and a woman yet unnamed. Hope this helped someone.

They have been calling for weeks now.  When I answer, line is usually dead.  I called number back today and a rep answered "how can I help you"  I simply stated someone from the number had been calling me for a while and everytime i answered noone was there and could he tell me why they were calling.  He never asked me for my number...but was silent for about 30 seconds... he then asked me if there was a Julie at the number, I said no, and he said he would take care of it.  I'm assuming its a debt collection agency.  My advice, call the number back! someone may answer and stop the madness!!

they call at least 10 times per day and have never left a msg. This has gone on for a month at least. I finally looked them up on google and I called them a few minutes ago. They are a collection agency and are working to collect a credit card debt i owe. They wanted 100% paid by the end of the month.
