Scam company.  This company has harassed me with automated phone calls for the last six month claiming that if I don't respond it will be the last time they call me.  Of course, the calls continue, finally I pressed "1" to speak to an operator and asked that my name be removed and for them to stop calling me.  She responded, "I didn't call you, you pressed 1".  I'm filing a complaint with the Secretary of State tomorrow.

240-210-7138 calls my cell ph 3 to 5 times a week. i saved the number as a contact named a** hole, and ignore the calls by pressing end.

I have received the call on two different landlines/carriers and also on a cell phone. You would figure that all of these complaints that our FCC would do their job and regulate.

It is a Southwestern Bell Mobile cell phone from Greenbelt Maryland.  I have posted a comment with every Google search.  I wrote to Verizon 2 times now.  Will continue to investigate this.  I wont pay $14.95 to a reverse phone number company.  Maybe it is THEM who does this, to get annoyed people to pay them money.  Im calling our news station because it is not just ME who is getting these calls.  It is ***DREDS of cell phone users.

We recently switched over to Verizon cell phone service.  All of our cell phones keep getting a call from this #.  It is a recording about warranty service on a vehicle that will soon be expired.  It even says "This is the last call"  I called the # back, a woman answered with just a*****o.  Companies do not answer with just a*****o.  I said I keep getting a call from this number.  She only said ok...I said WHY is this happening?  no answer.  I then asked her what company is this...she replied  Warranty Services then ***g up.  I will be calling Verizon to help me with this problem.

This phone # call me everyday, so I just called them back and I hear nothing, then I went back to my cell phone and checked on missed call a***n but all the missed call from 240-210 7138 was gone and I haven't dismiss it.  what happen?

i keep getting these callsand it's so ******.i called back once and a guy answeredi was like "um, i don't even own a car or know how my number was used.but can you like erase it??"then i went on like i'm serious dude.then he ***g up. What a *****.i don't even have car insurance ******.that was fun.

This is so annoying. even though i resgisted on the do not call list, i  get regular calls robot calls from this number saying "This is the second warning that the manufacture's warranty on your car is about to expire". somene please identify for us who is behind this tel number and how we can shut them downthanks all

Just received a call from this number. Didnt answer. They called my cell phone and when I tried to call back all I got was dead air. I ***g up after 45 seconds. I wonder what's going on here.

I might be able to clear up for you, Kat, how they got your number, because I have been getting this calls, ongoingly, and the only place that the number that they've been calling on appears (and has appeared on, recently) is Craigslist.The number that they've been calling on is used for anything where I want to remain anonymous, but, I haven't really had that much use for it, until I had an apartment attached to my home to rent.Maybe, in my area, they figure that if you own property, you certainly own a car, so, the warranty-about-to-expire pitch might be appropriate or, indeed, even work.I've tried to get off the list by pressing whatever number it is that the outgoing recording says to press to "discontinue further notices."Actually, as I am typing this, I must self-correct; they have called my anon-number, which is what led to my belief that it was culled from Craigslist, but also, they've called my house.The only way that those two numbers could be correlated is if it was from an e-mail that I sent out, personally, because I don't give out my home number, even though I make business calls from it, unless I know the person.The only other possibility is an auto-dialer which blankets my area, based on area code, alone, because the exc****e used in my anon-number and my home number do not correlate to each other. In fact, the anon-number doesn't correlate to any geographical area, other than with the same area code.

got the call at 9:15 this morning.  I did not answer.  I would love to know how my number was obtained.

THis number called me this morning, early I missed the call but when I tried to call it back I got a busy signal this is an unlisted cell number that I have so I'm not sure how anyone I don't give it too would get it.

What sounded like a recording stated:'This is the second warning that the manufacture's warranty on your car is about to expire....'(I ***g up here...i dont own a car, never did in NYC or NY State)

Just got the call a***n, this time on my cell phone.  It is about my car warranty (which I don't have) about to expire.

BS call beeped in during a phone interview that I was having!!!!!!!!!!!!

I missed the call, but I find if you don't answer calls like these, they eventually will stop.

A Maryland number...Didn't pick it up because I don't know anyone from that state...got a voicemail saying i need to update my car warranty...

I also got the update car warranty call.

I am getting repeated phone calls saying I need to update my car warranty.  I don't even have a new car.  They are calling my cell phone, which is a minute phone, and I am pretty sure this is a violation of some sort.

i get at least one call from this number everyday, often more the one. I just want these calls to stop!

There was no answer when I got to the phone (late), but could not figure out who I knew at this number.

Recorded message says "my mistake".

Recorded female voice:  "My mistake, sorry about that."  Then ****s up.  Trolling for fax numbers and computers?  Trying to figure out who actually answers their telephones, for telemarketing later?  I have no clue.The area code is somewhere in Maryland.
