This man wanted me to pay $999 bank to bank online charges, $200 transaction fee to do the paperwork and $500 NC state taxes before the government in Washington, DC would release a financial aide grant for $9,000, then it would be $9,899 then added bonus of $2500 totaling $10,399 deposited into my checking account in 24 hours. I was told to buy gift cards totaling $1200 all I had taken from an ATM, scratch off the number and take a picture of it with the receipt , text it to him, so it could be refunded back to me. When I questioned this he said this is how Washington, DC does it. $500 each for NC state taxes, $******nk to bank transaction fee, $200 to do the paperwork and $999 bank to bank online charges. He wants me to transfer the rest of the money from my savings to my checking account tomorrow so the government can deposit the $10,399 to my checking account. I will go to the bank and call him instead I’ll speak to the bank to c****e my debit card as he has my number.
