It says here “no carrier” and that means, to me, that it is not a phone. Therefore, I envision someone at a computer with software to create a number that looks like mine and so-called “call” me hooking up to there recordings and possibly RECORDER (for the say “yes” scam). I have been called repeatedly in a day and they do not leave a message. That is too bad, because they could. I think that this is a scam or marketer of fraudulent and I wish that people would understand that they have to leave a legitimate message... and EVEN THEN if it is a company you say I will call you back (they can reroute real phone numbers - take over real phone numbers so I so not know what we are supposed to do but hopefully it will all work out. Maybe businesses that you have anything to do with do not call but send things in the mail and then you can bring the communication in (preferably obviously) or call about it. Companies are learning to deal with this so hopefully we will keep ahead of the fraud. Write a letter to the government about your troubles and tell someone what happens/happened. I hate to be in fear - that should be illegal for these people to be making a state of fear about calls and mail. Who is this in ***ndywine Maryland?

I received an automated message from them purporting to be the IRS. The message was very threatening. I called back and the person who answered had a thick foreign accent, possibly Indian. I think this is a scam.
