Recording when you try to call back. No information given on caller

I missed a call from this number. They didn't leave a voice mail. 248 is local area code and they called our business #, so I called back. An automated voice answered saying, "Hello, if you wish to be placed on the National do-not-call-list for this number please press 1" It never said who the caller was and no other options were offered. So I pressed "1" and the voice replied, "It may take up to 48 hrs for your request to be processed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused." Very strange.
