I received a call from them today. They were just asking if I'm interested in a direct deposit.

i received 2 calls from this # yes****ay while not home, and no message was left and i do not know this number ? and we don't owe any money to msp...

Advise not to call them back.  I tried calling this phone number back several times and all I got was an automated tree, then when I finally got someone they kept asking me all kinds of questions.  I tried to give them a lot of info except my SIN #, then they ***G UP on me very rudely!If it is Revenue Ca***a, they need to stop this agression NOW or people won't call them back anymore.  In fact, they shouldn't be calling people in the first place, it is too much time and trouble.  Mail is the best way.

They just called me, I picked up and no one is there.  I search for the number on the net, and get told it's a land line in Victoria, BC.  Did a google search, and here this is. MSP can take a hike, I don't owe them anything, and I don't even have insurance through them :s  *sigh*  Great information though everyone, thanks :)

This number calls almost everyday, several times a day. I pick up and listen, but sounds like no one is there. You would think they would take the hint. I do not recognize the number at all.

i just got a call from these guys this morning i owe them almost 500 not too worried because i already got my income tax refund which i thought they would deduct before they paid me oh well im happy and ill pay them when i get around to it they better not hold their breath though :)

Got a voicemail from Revenue Services of BC - called back and ***ed through their vm system.  Talked with a rep and similar to the entry above, the person they were looking for gave them an incorrect number.

I got a call from 250 405 4960 on my cellphone. I don't give my cellphone number out other than to friends and close business contacts.I phoned back as requested in the message left, and confirmed it was the Revenue Services of BC (NOT Revenue Ca***a), and that they were looking for MSP premiums. It turned out that the person they were trying to reach had given them an incorrect phone number. I have never heard of the person they were trying to reach.I wonder if that person will end up paying for her medical services because her doctor can't collect from MSP?

I got a call from this number as well. funny thing is that they called my cellphone number which i don't use to register for anything. So it makes me wonder how they got this number.

This call is from the Medical Services Plan, as others have mentioned.  You would only receive calls from here if you are late in your MSP premiums.  Several months, usually.  You shouldn't expect calls from this number if you are up-to-date.  If you are concerned about fraud such as the caller above (Sammy), you should not post here and expect a response or****istance - contact the authorities, or the credit bureau etc..  Once a fraudster has your info, the last thing they will be doing is calling you back and "going over it with you."  They would take that info, defraud you, and move onto the next person without you even knowing the fraud has happened.

I got one of those today, the person on the other end said they were from revenuse services of bc, and they had all kinds of personal info on me like all my mortgage info, and they said that they have done a credit check, yet when I was talking to him, he asked me what bank I was dealing with, now if he had a credit report in front of him he would have known what financial ins***ution I was from.  Does anyone have any more info on this....?  Hurry before he does damage.

Just wondering what....push 3 then one,important info?!   If they have my phone number must have address so why not just send it rather than these harassment calls!!

They call about once a week - message is never complete.Probablt fraud.

ya, i got a miss call from this number twice this year. i didnt use the care card for almost 5 years,dont know why they called me.

was wondering what this number was. it always calls during the day when i am not here and doesn't leave a message. I have an outstanding bill for MSP for $80. must be it.

yeah, it probably is BC Medical Insurance people, I refuse to pay them 3 months in advance - after all, if I die will they refund me 2 months? hehe croak!

Just received two calls in a row from this company at 5:15 on a SA****AY! ON MY CELL PHONE! Anyway, I immediately called back and was greeted with an automated response saying the office is closed. This number was instantly put on my "What the !@#$" list.

I was late on paying my BC MSP once so that is probably why this number was calling me - thanks

They've been calling me twice a week for a few weeks now.I finally Googled the number just now, only to find this helpful site!I did call the 1-866 number from my work phone (in case it was a scam) and they promised to take my number off the list after I convinced them I'm from Toronto and not named "Dexter So****ingorother".Kinda disturbing that there are so many people who have been affected by their incompetence.

Never had a student loan, medical is paid automatically by deduction. Only a few people have my number (family/close friends) so when the phone rings (usually when I'm driving) I answer it and get a recorded message. Call that number get lost in a maze of if you want this push number x etc

It's NOT Revenue Ca***a, people! - it's Revenue "SERVICES" of BC, which is an American company, EDS, collecting MSP, student loan, etc. debt on behalf of the Province of BC. (Thank Gordon Campbell for this)If you actually speak with a human, ask to have a detailed, itemized breakdown of how the debt was calculated. They designed their own revenue management system, and it's a huge piece of ****. Don't be surprised if you don't owe what they say you do. Also, don't be surprised if it doesn't accurately reflect what you may have already paid - this is the same joke of a company that designed the systems for the federal gun registry.

I keep getting these calls as well.  For the people mentioning it's regarding MSP premiums, did you actually phone them back and talk with someone?

1 250 405 4960 called me Oct. 12/07(today) and was a ma****e from revenue Ca***a I Didn't and wont call back. I also don't know of any revenue Ca***a being open on Sa****ay from 10 am to 4 pm at this time of year.

I don't owe you anything, so don't bother calling.
