I received a call from a young man addressing me as "Grandpa" but refusing to give his name and insisting I guess who he was. When I refused and further pressed him for his name he hung up. this was not my grandson so I'm guessing this was a scam.

A family member was in jail and the RCMP wanted 15,000 bail money to release them.

Received call from this number. Person calimed ri be RCMP and were requesting $10,000 bail money for family member.

There have been many scams conducted from this number. Either they are using this number to disguise their own, or thisbis the actual number being used.

Caller ID said 100 Mile HS BC shown as 250-609-6338 called 5/21/2020. A young man said " Hi Grandma". I asked who is this? He said your grandson. I asked which one? He answered your oldest. If I had been thinking better I would have asked him, what is your name? Instead, I felt it was a scam call and said back to him, you have to be kidding me ! He hung up on me. A friend said to me a call came in like this saying it was their granddaughter in N.Y. and she was in an accident and in jail. They arrested her and she needed $ 2500.00 to get her out. She thought she was her granddaughter but something told her to call her daughter and ask her. She told her it was a scam that the granddaughter was not in jail. These are old people and what a shame the younger generation does not have honesty in their personality. Perhaps their own parents are not honest and they were raised to be a crook and a liar. Other people may not see and know what they are doing but GOD Almighty knows. Hope they get caught and go to jail for many years. They brought it on themselves, no one else to blame!

Similar story to above

This is a man calling and saying that our grandson was arrested and they need $9500 cash for bail. Said he was arrested with 9 lbs. of marijuana in an Uber car. Said he was a police officer. very ***ue but a scammer. Number originates in Canada.

This is a Spammer. Screamed and said a relative was in a car accident and now in Jail and said to purchase $3.000 in i-Tune gift cards. They name is Victoria Moore is how the phone is answered. Police have been called and have identified number.

I called the number back.. it's the Conservative Part of Canada.  I am glad I ignored that call!!!
