He has called me from this number.

This individual is a scammer attempting to rent a beautiful home to me in the neighborhood I grew up in. I found them on Craigslist and called their bluff shortly after.

These people are proffional scammers.

Jl The first time this person called i answered it. When the caller heard my voice he said he had the wrong # and ***g up right away. I have received at least 1 call everyday since. So far this evening calls gave come in from this # 5 times. Phone was not answered, No message was left.

Repeated calls from this number at 3:00 AM

I got a call from a similar number (254-300-695972) on 5/13.  He claimed to be "Frank Miller in California."  Extremely unlikely.  I'm sure it was from an international call center.  I don't think that's "ext 71", but the remainder of the phone number.  American cell phones have difficulty displaying international numbers.  I believe the "254" is not the area code, but the country code (Kenya).  What's really interesting, though, is that the same guy called a***n this evening (5/16).  This time the number was 905-001-368262.  "90" is the country code for Turkey.  How he's calling from two different countries, I don't know.  He hasn't asked for any sensitive information (e.g. credit cards).  The first time he called seemed to be a wrong number (asking for Kathy; we don't have a Kathy).  My cell phone has poor reception; his English is seriously lacking (definitely not American; sounds Asian); communication was not clear.  Possibly a prank from a bored call center worker; possibly a scam attempt.

I just found out what "254" calls are...They come from Kenya, the country code is 254, then the city code is 2 digets, then the number.  Here's the link:http://countrycode.org/kenya

Lots of background noise, couldn't understand company name because of heavy indian accents, said so****ing about a car i cosigned for, but my credit is already way **** so there's no way anyone would ever let me cosign.

Same as the other calls from 254-300-****.  A robo-call offering to increase my credit line was made to my personal cell-phone.  No company name offered.  I didn't select the option to 'find out more' by pressing a number.
