We keep getting calls from this number located in Waco, Texas. After the third one I called the number back and I got the following message, “ Welcome to Global Star, you’ve reached a number that’s been disconnected “. So this leads me to believe the number is being used by a spammer or some other crooked outfit! I looked up “Global Star” on the Internet and it’s appears to be a legitimate business. It says that they are some sort of satellite phone company as well as a satellite television company! I would guess in our area they are contracting satellite providers for companies like Dish Network or Direct TV to try and get customers. However it’s odd that if they want your business, you would think they would leave a legitimate number to call them back!
