A young lady called and asked about my Comcast service visit today. I was su****ious that she didn’t appear concerned or comment when I said I’m still having problems with my connection. She had laughed. I said, you’re calling from area code 256? She said she’s in Alabama. I’m in Illinois so I said you don’t have an Alabama accent so I can’t talk right now.

Sam Edgeworth They used to call and named themselves ****** Cancer Society, etc, etc. I looked them up and there was no such charity, nor record by the BBB. Now they are calling masking themselves as Children's Cancer blah blah. Total scam.

Have called every day for the past week, sometimes twice a day. They say its a subscription service and you can enter to win an ipod. Luckily there was a way to unsubscribe from the calls.

This caller called and had my husband's name and our address and wanted to mail concert tickets that were being sold as a fund raiser the Mobile Safe House. He said he would mail tickets to us and to please send a donation. I asked my husband did he know of a fund raiser for fireman and he said no. Very skeptical

They ask for money every year and claim to be a local firefighters. Well I donated money for they charity last year to help our kids from Madison county and guess what ...?!:( my money went to crooks.This year a got 2 phone calls from them a***n ...:( Please don't give any money to this people !!! Where is police department and why they don't investigate this case?It is SCAM!!!

LF Received call from 256-280-2859. Was someone laughing, would not say anything. Tried to call back and get recording that number is not in service.

Received a call from "Paul Parsons" stating that he was calling on behalf of the ***tsville Firefighter's****ociation regarding an upcoming benefit. When I asked to removed from their calling list, he rudely asked, "Why?" As I was asking to speak with someone else, he talked over me, saying, "Yeah, yeah we'll remove you lady..." and ***g up on me.Definitely shady and if this was a legit call, his rudeness is a weird way to solicit funds.
