“Michael” is a male, possibly in Philippines, attempting to scam people into giving them money. They are able to make their phone number look like real numbers. They are on online dating sites and ask you to connect via Whatsapp.

These fraudsters have committed company identify theft a***nst a Federal Credit Union. Consumers targeted by the scam typically are looking for a payday or short term loan and search the Internet for****istance. They voluntarily place their personal information on these independent sites (not recommended) and then receive an email from one of the aliases. They say that you have been approved for a short term loan that is affiliated with companies that the scammer has no****ociation with whatsoever. Consumers who respond by telephone to the offer are then told that in order to receive the loan, they have to pay for either an upfront fee, taxes owed, processing fee, etc., in the form of a MoneyPak or Pre-paid credit card including Vanilla Network cards. Do not pay any upfront fees and **** up on them.

kari I have been receiving random calls from bogus loan company's for the last 4 days as of 4-13-14 from numbers *287-14044330 called from Texas with a Hindu voice *773-596-1405 called from Chicago IL english *551-200-58787 called from new jersey english they ask me what kind of loan I need. I ask them how they get my contact info and they tell me none of my business or not my concerns or I cant relate to your question or how many people are looking for a loan I ask who they are looking for they say random names

C. J. Raynor Guy calls my phone 6 times in 8 minutes. I've blocked him on several different numbers and he just gets a new number and s****s calling a***n. I've told him no one at this number is falling for his bs but he just keeps calling.

Called - left no message.  After reading the comments, it seems that it is a solicitator and yes I am on the Do Not Call List.  I do have Call Blocker and will be adding this # to it, just as I have other solicitators.

Recieved this call and didn't leave a message but answered it a second time and got an automated voice that said it was windstream with a message about my dish services.
