-- It's a Bank of America Scam --They called wanting to give me a free credit report.  They had my name and address.  Upon verifying, they wanted to read "the fine print", which included an "if you decide to cancel, just call" note.Basically, they are selling credit monitoring services.  This is a scam - they Bank of America was doing this "because they care", when in actuality, they are doing it to con unknowing people into signing up for paid services.

We keep getting calls from the number 281-469-2802 which are really annoying. Thanks to caller ID we know that we don't know anybody with this number so when we see "TEXAS" on our caller ID we just ignore it but it can be a pain at times especially when it calls late in the evening or early in the mornings. Called the number back today and found out that it was for Innovative Consultants and they give you the option to remove yourself from their calling list by entering your number into their system and then pressing #1 for removing from call list. They say to give 24-48 hours for the system to purge you from their call list so I guess if I don't hear from them a***n this will be a good thing and I'd advise all who get this number to call them back and do the same.
