Another f*ing live calls with credit card services. Gave a fake name, address, and other info just to tie her up, then Told her I was with the FCC and the call had been traced to the REAL number! She said, "Oh, sh*t". LOL

2817864057 Company violates Fair Debt Collection Practices Act by calling friends and family that charges will be filed a***nst you, discussing your personal business/debt without your permission to family members and friends and threaten to deliver do***ents/charges to your place of employment. You tell them to stop calling and they don't want to hear it; one lady sounded crazy and justified in her statements.

Sarah i just got a call from them too. they didn't say anything.. however, when it comes to them threatening you with police and what not, chances are, they bought an old debt and that is their way of making you pay, completely illegal, but they still do it. When they call a***n, try to stay as calm as you can (i hardly ever do) get as much information as you can, so act like you want to pay them or whatever they want, then turn it all over to the FTC.

calls ask for persons and when you don't identify who you are even though he call you first, then **** up.

PB Recently I borrowed money through payday loans but in the process of applying online my information got into the wrong hands, I am getting threatening calls fron a couple of guys always  the guy leaves messages like he is a law officer and that I am being sued for payday loan delinquent accounts. That he has my SS number he always leaves the last 4 of my SS number and the Home address in the messages. First time he wanted me to fax a copy of my credit card I did not send any info and I planned on closing my bank account . I s****ed ignoring the calls. I am not sure if it is right or wrong. Please respond if you have any information regarding these callers.
