Leave a Commentif it seems to good to be true then it is... I just opened a letter from which everyone is speaking of and quickly googled the web name....as I suspected....A scam!!! Thanks
Same here on the 647-686-7712 or 0640 and Lisa Miller. Fax# is supposedly 212-854-6***. I went onto a forum and saw good replies about the company. Volition.com is a mystery shopping forum. There were 13 pages of replies there 95% positive. I went ahead and talked to her a couple of times and actually deposited the check. 5 days later, it didnt clear. Luckily, there is no money in my account for them to take. I wonder if they are trying to steal iden***ies? I didnt give them a social, driver license#, dob, or anything else, just a phone number and address, same as what is in the phone book. I dont sign checks the same way as everything else Thinking next time I get one, I am going to straight out cash it at a check cashing place and see if that works, scam the scammer. The 0640 is not working now, but 7712 still goes to voicemail. Went ahead and put the 647 area code thing into this database and the 212 fax to check out this #
I got a letter from this same company and a check for $4881.25. Called the 647-686-7712. Ca***a is what the internet said. I was then directed to call 647-867-0640 and spoke with a Lisa Miller. Why would they have me call one number then redirect to call another? First clue. She claimed to be from a "secret shopper service" and wanted me to deposit the check and was told to wait for it to clear. She said her bank cleared checks for her immediately (pretty much asking without asking for me to spend the money without the money actually being available). She said to call her after I deposited the check but I must do it immediately. I would then get my****ignment to do shopping at various stores and would get to keep the merch. and fill out a report on each store I visited. Cleanliness, customer service rating, that sort of thing. She said that this was a probationary period and that if I did good that I could be hired on full time and could work as little or as much as I wanted. $400 per job I would get paid plus the free merchandise! She did mention that there was a $1,500 a year fee for being an employee at this company but it was well worth the money and since I was probationary I would not have to pay that until I accepted full time work. That's as far as I got with her. Did a little research and found out it's a total scam. BOLO!
Received a letter also in san antonio, tx for 4887.75$ thxs now I know.. What's going on.. It was odd that someone sent me a letter with no return address. Lol www.service evaluations.com 1-647-686-7712 open from 7am - midnight..
.I just got a check today for 4,887.75 for the same program, I had my bank run a check on the check...and no funds... so I called the number 1 647-686-7712 ( which is a cellphone # fron ontario ca***a) the company Mountain Broadcasting is out of NJ...when MARY answered .. I listened to her sales pitch, and then told her my bank run a check on the funds and it came back non existant in which case the bank manager took the check to his office and got on the phone....she abruptly ***gup on me and would not answer my calls.... imagine that...lol. BEWARE PEOPLE...always check it out....if it's to good to be true...it often is....
I got a letter very similar. sounds very strange. I would not cash the checks either.
I got a letter with a check of $1995.00, and it says the similar thing as above. Well, actually I recieve several letters like that, the first time I called that guy (the name is Mr. Cris Parker) and I am pretty sure that this is a trick. The funny thing is that I received 2 letters the same day and they are giving me the same offer! (the other phone number is 1-647-686-1736 and the guy's name is John Banks).I suggest that just ignore them.
You get a letter with a check for $2360.00 to parti****te in a consumer reaserch program. You must call Laura Franflin upon receive of the letter to activate the check and deposit in your checking account. Most of the times if you have a good credit history with the bank the bank will clear the check the next day. She ask you to go secret shopping at walmart and JC Penny and save the receipts, but the check is no good. She ask you to buy a money order for $1875.00 and send it to Deborah Dean in NY (same person)
