I got the same check. It looks real, but NOONE gives money away for free, and I don't even own a home. The check says"Final International Home Improvement grant notification". It also says"I was a ramdomly selected from publishers clearing house or readers digest, or department store. I wonder......

WE NEED TO FILE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT A***NST THESE ***** COMPANIES

I got a letter from the Universal Group INc. Saying i got a grant from working at walmart. i deposited the check and they said i had to wait 11 days so i did. My bank called the bank CITIZENS BANK in NY and verified the check. The check was real and was written to me. Well 2 weeks after I deposited it the bank called me and told me the check was stolen and my name was printed on it. So why did the bank tell her it was real and was written to me? It is aggravating.

I recieved a letter in the mail with a valid check saying it was a grant. So I called this number that was on the letter since I had applied for some grants. Has anyone had an experience with this? They name theirselves Meridian Group Inc.
