i received the same letter took it to the bank the teller told me. that was a counterfeit check for future checks to verify, if they really want u to send them money back is a big big scam, dont fall for it please,,,,dont evn try to deposit the check because they will close ur account...........

i just revieved this letter that you all have recieved mine was from a bank called indymacbank out of california i called the bank and they said they are in no way offiliated with this company and is a scam so i googled the number and came across this site so thank god i did research on it before i did anything the weird thing is i actually did enter an online gaming contest that was valid lol so i thougth thiswas my winnings hahha

My finance received the same letter. I wrote the bank to see what they say and will let you all know as soon as I know.
We also received a letter with a check to cash and return the processing fees to claim "big winnings". The letter was actually sent to a 13 year old child claiming online gaming winnings. Checked the number and found it on the scam list. I will be contacting the attorney general on this one.
