Automated call saying I needed to call another number to finalize my Bank of America account.  I don't trust call, so will contact B of A directly.

I have gotten calls from this number.  Is there a way to block it or report it?  If so, how and to whom?Thanks,

866 640 6985 is legitimate.I saw 302-458-1053 on my caller ID. They left a generic prerecorded voice message to call 866 640 6985 regarding my recent credit application for Bank of America. I did apply, but didn't trust the number, so I called the main Bank of America number. They transferred me 4 times, but I got to the credit department and spoke with a loan officer. They confirmed it's their number.

Call came with Caller ID Name Card Services.  Asked me to call 866 640 6985.  Called and they asked for my SSN.  I refused.  I did apply for a credit card with BoA and called the local ***nch.  I was told BoA won't contact you this way.

Keep calling my business number, but ****-up after asking who this is.

Call left no answer

Get calls at home from 302-458-1053 saying about recent inquiry with Bank of America.  Called 800-441-7048 and they want an extension.  I do not get anywhere.  Did a search and found a blurb about the 800 number and to call Monica at the extension 31058.  She has a voice mail about calling 602-597-3137 which is the fraud area of Bank of America.  Left messages to call me back but got nothing.

Called several times, day and night.  Called at least 5 times between 3 and 7pm

called very early in the morning, twice about 1/2 hr apary. No message

Have had several calls from this number during the last month at company office. No caller name. Left no message. Is this a scam or what? Have seen several comments regard*** this number--seem shady.

I have been getting calls from (302) 458-1053 during work hours. They don't leave a voice mail.  I just got a call and when I tried calling the number back the recording said the number was inactive and gave a number of (800) 441-7048.  I called the 800 number and they wanted my BofA credit card number or my social security number.  They didn't even ask me my name.

Tried to call this number and got a recording saying "it's no longer a working number".  Then it gave another number to call which was 800-448-7048.  When you call that number you also get a recording saying,"it's no longer a working number".

calls 4 or 5 times a day,they say its card services.

This is a scam. They want to steal your social security number.  They claim they're from Bank of America calling to process your request. When you call back on the 888 number they leave, 888-806-0070 the first thing they ask you for is your SSN.

It's weird that when i check my call list, i will see the number showing up ON the hour for 4 hours or so-- sometimes only 10 minutes apart!-- meaning they keep calling repeatedly-- yet they don t leave a message!

Keeps calling during my work hours on my cell phone - no message left on VM - trying to answer but cannot at work keep losing the call.
