he said they were from the police and wanted my support and was sending me out a package I said ok then he said can you talk with another person so this woman came on the line and said thank you for your support what credit card are you using I said none I don't give cards over the phone I knew right then and there it was a scammer.

I answered it because it came up as account services with a local number. When i answered it, the message stated a name of someone I knew and asked to press 1. So i did, reluctantly, it went to elevator music and hung up. Tried calling back and it was just a recorded message.

Bummed While technically, not a spammer. This RoboCall sole purpose is just to see if they connected to a live line. If yes, they then sell these lists of live numbers to the real spammers, who then do their dirty work. What a shame that the Feds can't put a halt to these disturbing activities.
