Hello how are you

Received a text in regards to an item I was selling on craigslist and they sent me a check for 5x the worth of the item. I suspect they wanted me to pay the shipping out of that money and pay the shipping costs out of it. This has to be a scam where once I cashed the check I would be liable for the shippers too and more than likely I would be stuck refunding them an amount not agreed upon. I therefore declined the deal as it was not agreed upon my terms. My terms were that they would pay me for the item ($800.000) and arrange for someone to disassemble the item and load and take away. Instead they did not return my reply(s) to the 4 different e-mail addresses . Makes me a little su****ious. When I return emails to all and then get a text from this phone # 304-406-6227. the check they sent me was for $3,940.00 - abt 5x more that what I was asking. Doesn't make sense.
