Leave a CommentYeah I'm in Los Angeles and got the exact same text about my visa...like a dilrod I called but the computer prompt sounded ODD so I used that last shred of better judgement and ***g up, Callled my bank directly and found that there was noting wrong. And then I found my way here. Got the text 1/15/11
They are texting me!!!
Me too
Ditto here: Just noticed a TEXT MSG from earlier in the evening 1/15/11 @ 7:18pm: Using the phone's Options ****on, I got these "Message Details":Sender 3787Message: TextType: PersonalMessage Center +1-404-***-0010 (I think 404 is Atlanta(?)Text Msg says: [email protected] / / Your Emerald Card S****ing with 511165 was frozen. Call 1-305-400-4772.---------(I added hyphens in the numbers to make them easier to read.)First off, when T-Mobile sends a text msg., they don't look anything like that, so right away I was su****ious. Then I noticed it was .net vs .com, unlike the T-Mobile website. Then I noticed it says T Mo Mail vs T Mobile.Last but not least, I don't have an Emerald Card & never heard of Emerald Cards & don't even know what one is. So I googled rather than calling those crooks, & found this site. More than happy to add to the mounting evidence of this SCAM.As others have said, BEWARE & DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM! DO NOT CALL THEM! They may just be sending out these text msgs to RANDOM cell #'s hoping to reach "live" numbers.PS: This is the 1st time I ever received a text msg like this.
I also received a text stating that my Emerald Card s****ing with 511165 was frozen and to call this number. I have no Emerald Card, this is just another phishing scam.
Received a text message telling me my MC had been frozen and I need to call the above #. When I called, automated system asked me to enter my MC acct #. I thought it was sttrange from the get-go, so I called from my home # and then did NOT give my cc info. I then googled the above # and found this site. Thus here i am...
I called tmobile and the blocked the 4 digit number the originally sent the text from (3451), two hours later I get generally the same text from a new 3### number. Im careful who I give my info to, looks like someones been handing my info out... tmobile fail.

This is a scam. You get an automated answering service when you call asking you to input your credit/debit card information. DO NOT REPLY.
DO NOT GIVE THESE THIEFS YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER
