The caller contacted my work phone and also left a message on my home phone regarding a legal matter of a financial matter and a law suit pending.  The contact was Officer Robin Smith.  The message states if yoyu do not call the number back you will be picked up on a warrent.  I did not call the number back.

Yeah, officer Mark Williams with a very thick indian accent called He had my address I advised him I don't live at that adress anymore he said "well you used to" very rudely. He was very threating I advised him after he read off my ss# that there has been a fraud alert placed on my info and that I already reported them to the FCC.  He got very angry and said he would send an officer to pick me up LOL! I told I would be waiting.They used to call from a 321-445-4135 #, I guess they had to c****e since they are being investigated.LOL!

Received a message from the same number at my job today, c****ed his name to Rollin Smith who is a financial officer threatening legal action for fraudulent use of my SS# (?).  Don't be fooled. Reported this activity to the FBI and Secret Service, yes Secret Service!

Called my job on 2/3/10 pretending to be Office Joseph Moody, was foreign said I owed $400 for a payday loan that I cancelled before I ever recieved it.  Said it was deposited into my account I printed all my bank statements showing I never reveived it.  He called a few months back using a different name. When I told him I was contacting the FBI the calls stopped. Now he has c****ed the name he is using and the phone number.  Last time it was a cell phone out of NJ.  When you call the number he answer*****o, no business name.

i had an called today from a guy name mark williams he said he was an police officer and he told me i owe 2800 dollars from a pay day loan that i never file for, he told me also he was going to get the paper file today and that an police officer will come and pick me up today, at first he told me i had 21days to pay it then he try to turn it around and said he will just send an officer over to pick me up, i told my husband and he said it sound fishy too.

A gentleman named Officer Joseph ***** called me yes****ay and left a very distributing  message about a debt he said that my sister owed and that I had co-signed, which is not true. I called my sister and she informed me that she had been getting calls like this for months and the people are very rude and will supply no information on the debt.  I've looked up the name of the company and the phone number and it's not listed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The number that he gave me to call call him back on is (305) 434-4075. But the number appears on my phone as 052439799. When I google the number I found all these postings about this same number.  I will be reporting this number to the Local Police and State Attorney's office as I see this is another scam.

They have threatened to have their people come to my house and take me to the court house.  They also request that I give them all my personal information. Mr  Joseph ***** called and said that he was from the fiancial and  fraud division  said that he faxed me a paper with the do***entation of proof,  and  I never received this(305) 434 44075  he said I had a loan from 2007   then he said it was from 2008for $575.00,  he said the was an officer   then he said he was an lawyerI called the payday loan company they said I do not owe them any money and he keep threating my sister who is an senior citzen and she has congenstive hear failure

I received a call from 052-439-799 (odd) from a man with a thick accent saying he was an officer with financial**x - I couldn't understand him -  regarding the "lawsuit a***nst [me]" and wanting some financial info. I ***g up. True lawsuits will notify you by letter and certified mail or an actual police officer to deliver the certified paperwork lawsuit notification. Knowing his remark about a lawsuit to be completely untrue, I called the local police to make a report and then the State Attorney General's office and filed a formal complaint. This 052 number and subsequent call-back number are connected with financial scammers. There may have been a database breach somewhere over the past several years and these people are attempting to bilk money. Report them immediately. Do not engage in any conversation of any kind, and certainly do not give info.

these people have called me in the past from a 904-239-3960 also and will only accept payment by money gram, western union, and credit card and say they will have me arrested if i dont comply. if you google the phone number 52439799 or 904-239-3960, it pulls up many other posts showing it is a scam done by indians overseas. dont give them any information.

i keep getting the same threatening calls. he even faxed me a paper over with a company name of "L&V USA LLC" which i googled and does not exist. he is threatening legal action.

Same exact name, company, and reason for calling. I can barely understand him with the thick accent. We are a place of business and they are calling for an employee. She has stated that she has called the police over this man. He is demanding that we put him in contact with her because it is an emergeny legal matter.
