Leave a CommentJust got a call at 3:06pm saying that they detected a fraud in MasterCard account and for security reasons, they locked it. Well, knowing that it was a scam, I went ahead and pressed '1' to unlock it and hoped to talk to some live. But no, another female voice ma****e came on. I just ****ed up. I did get calls from my bank for fraud in the past and they're usually live people instead of these *****s. Scam!
Got a call informing that my Credit Card has been locked and asked me to press #1. I ***g up and called back immediately. Female voice mail asked to leave name and phone number. My caller ID shows: "Smart Development". Another SCAM.
Just got the same call from "Suntrust Bank".

I WORK AT MASTERCARD INTERNATIONAL AND THAT IS A SCAM. IF THE CALL COMES IN, JUST **** UP. NOT FURTHER ACTION IS NEEDED
Same here....and I don't even have a mastercard! ***g up as soon as I heard the word mastercard. Definately a scam.
Got a call from these people. Said my Mastercard was locked and to press "1" to unlock it. Thought I would talk to a live person...instead it was more of an automated message asking me to put in my Mastercard 16 digit account. Yeah right...I'll just hand that over. So I ***g up and checked my Mastercard online...not locked, nothing at all wrong with my card. BE CAREFUL! These people are trying to steal your credit card information!
Robo call said my Master Card had been locked, press "1" to be connected to a service representative. I don't have a Master Card. This is a Phone-Phishing scam.
