Leave a CommentAlex Copeland is wrong. By answering you have told them you have a valid #. They will then sell that info to other scammers. Why do so many people think if their phone rings they must answer it? You have Caller ID, USE IT! Do you let anyone coming to your door into your home? Of course not. Wake up people, these are crooks, DO NOT ANSWER when they call you! They manipulate the CID system so any info you get is probably bogus anyway. If for some insane reason you must answer it's too late! The second you answer the phone you have told them you have a valid phone number. They will then sell this info to other scammers. Pushing a # to 'remove yourself from their list' does absolutely NOTHING for you. Do NOT call them back! IF YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE! WAKE UP PEOPLE! How easy is that?
Beware ! ! ! They Are Not Who They Claim To Be - This Is A Subversive Attempt To Verify Who You Are. The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call. Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.
spam, spam, spam
They keep calling me to.I don't answer
MY HSBAND GOT LOTS OF CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND THEY CLAIMED TO BE CPS, SO WE CALLED THE CPS OFFICE AND THIS NUMBER IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY CPS OFFICE. PEOPLE NEED TO GET A JOB AND FIND SOMETHING TO DO WITH THEIR LIVES, THIS SICKENS ME SO MUCH.
The voicemail I got from this number said "Thank you for calling Home Protection" I recently inquired about ADT security ......SMH!!!
Didn't answer. No message left.
Don't call back
