Creepy S****ed randomly texting me, even knew my name. Told me I was cute and wanted to talk. But this number belongs to a landline. Super weird, creeped me out

I am selling a car on market place. The number asked for a vincheck . Person texting had broken English and called from a zip code 5 hours away and was going to get a ride to see the car. Second time a scammer has made contact withme in a few days.
