The guy said he could lower my interest rate to 6.9%. All I need to do is give him my expiration date on my VISA and MASTERCARD credit cards. Oh, the interest rate is locked in for life. Too good to pass up, right? He said he had my credit card numbers and the exact amount of each of my accounts.

Received an "unknown caller" number with the same story - from "card services" and to "press 1".  I pressed one and spoke to an accented woman.  She spoke to me for a few minutes and then claimed the connection was poor and she needed to call me back.  She called back immediately, also from 'unknown number'.  She asked for my credit card balances.  I asked, "why?" and she said because the only way they can lower your rate is if you owe $3500 or more.  I said that I did.  She then asked for the first 4 digits of my credit card, which I provided.  Then I became su****ious and asked what card she was calling about.  She said none - this was for mastercard or visa.  She then asked me to verify my account number entirely. I stated I would not do this, that this was an unsolicited phone call and I do not give out my account number.  She claimed that without the security code on the back, I was in no danger.  NOT TRUE.  I then stated that I was ending the call, but they called back a few minutes later from 310-388-6861.  I let the ma****e get it.  SCAM SCAM SCAM.

I got the automatic ***puter call from 406-219-2636 (Bozeman MT) saying that I could lower my Visa interest rate - Press 1, which I did, then this man with a heavy accent came on the phone asking me for information like what is the bank I have the cared with, what is the he said this is the first digit of your card what is the second one?  THen . .  what is the last 8 digits of your card tell me and I will tell you the first 8 digits.  I realized this could go on until he had everything so I told him I was not willing to give him anything, Just tell me why you called.  He insisted that to give me the lower rates he needed to verify the number of my account.  I told him I didn't want to talk to him anymore because I believed he was a scamer, and surprisingly enough, he ***g up.  OK, I thought, then a few minutes later, he called back from 310-388-6861 (Beverly Hills, CA)  Same Guy!  I told him that if he was from Visa he should already have all my information, and that I really did think he was a scamer and I would not talk to him anymore.  The crazy thing is I was trying to treat him like a valid person, and bring the call to a close in a civilized way, while he just would not let up trying to get my card number.

There is a real slime ball out there called Robert Seiter, if that is the s***s real name - his sick number which I believe is his cell is 623-224-5598.  He is the worst bottom of the barrel s*** ****er you will ever find.  I played him at his own game and kept calling him back every 15 seconds and every time asked him if he was having fun yet?  Obviously he became mad as***** and got incredibly insulting using every type of profanity imaginable, so I asked him how long he had been out of prison, made him even more mad.  I enjoyed every minute of it and this is what I do now with unsolicited calls, play them at their own game and they hate it.  Another great thing to do is buy a loud whistle, preferably one with a pea in it and **** it as hard as you can in their ears, deafen the *******s and create nothing but misery in their lives, I love it.  The only way to fight back with these low life law breakers is to play them at their own game.  I also get calls from 406-219-2636 and I call them every fifteen seconds and then hit 1!

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS # AND A RECORDING CAME ON TO TELL ME THAT I CAN HAVE MY INTREST RATE LOWED ON MY CREDIT CARDS, IT TOLD ME TO PRESS 1 AND A LIVE OPERATOR WOULD TALK TO ME. I DID SO AND A WOMAN WITH A VERY HEAVY MIDDLE EASTERN ACCENT CAME ON THE LINE . SHE SAID SHE WAS IN ORLANDO FL. AND PROCEDED WITH HER PRESENTATIONSHE ASKED ME TO VERIFY MY PHONE # AND ZIP CODE (SHE WAS 1 DIDGIT OFF)SHE THEN TOLD ME THAT I OWED SOME 3000.00 ON MY CREDIT CARDS (I DON'T OWE THAT MUCH ) AND S****ED TO ASK ABOUT SOME EXP DATES ON MY CREDIT CARDS THATS WHEN I ***G UP A MINUTE LATER I GOT ANOTHER CALL AKS ME WHY I ***G UP. I TOLD THE CALLER THAT I THOUGHT IT WAS A SCAM THEN THE CALLER ***G UP

Annoying phone calls with no one on line when picked up.

I received a call today and they said they could lower my interest rate.  I said I'm confused what credit card are you talking about?  They said I had a 3,******lance and if I don't pay it off by the end of the week I will have to declare bankruptcy.  I a***n said what are you talking about.  He then raised his voice and continued to criticize me stating I would have to declare bankruptcy.  I then s****ed questioning him where he was located he said Orlando Florida.  I could tell he was not from America, sounded Eastern Indian and I told him he was crazy, I didn't have a credit card with that kind of balance.  He tried to get personal information from me, and then he stated my iden***y had been stolen.  On my caller id the company name comes up as Card Services.  Beware to all and don't give them any personal information.
