RECIVED CALL AT 11:06 PM FROM A CO CALLED SUNPROC.  RANG ONCE. I PICKUPED THE PHONE & NO ONE WAS THERE.I AM ON A DO NOT CALL LIST.WHAT ARE THEY DOING CALLING AT 11PM.

phone rang once, then quit.  No one there, but the number was recorded on caller ID

I just got this call too from Toronto. What the heck is this and does anyone know where to begin in filing a report on these scam crooks?

About the tenth call I've gotten in the last two weeks, all from different numbers, a***n about the warranty thing.  I'm also in Ontario, and my sister and I are both getting the calls on our cells, which we hardly give to anybody, let alone some freaks in California.

I got two from this number this afternoon, and I'm in Toronto.

We get them on three cells and home phone.  File a complaint with the Federal Trades Commission in the US.  It is about the only way to help prevent these infiltrations.  The best sense of satisfaction comes from spending the little money to actually make them run their speal, and then involve their manager, etc...thinking they will win, then when he thinks you are going to give up your credit card number, rip him a new one, and tell him where he can shove his warranty...

Just got a call from this number in Oakville, ON -- appears to be a scam.

same thing - warranty service.  just bought a new car and doubt that the warranty is up after one week.  asked them who they were and why they were calling.  he told me he'd remove me from the list and ***g up really fast.  definitely not legitimate.

my roommate and I have been receiving calls from this number. Someone said if you call back and press "1" then you can remove yourself from the calling list... but I don't think it's worth it for long distance...

No way, I'm in Windsor ON and this number just called me too. What is going on here. Ive read its a scam of some sort with auto insurance.

I got a call from this number as well. I live in Ontario, Ca***a and this number is registered in California, where I know no one. They left a message but just ***g up. Is there way to report so****ing like this?

auto warranty scam.  got another one on my mobile just now.

I also receiveed this call and answered it.  I got a live voice, when I asked for the company name I was told warantee serveices but when I asked for the registration number......they would nott give it up, I was told that the people atr the next level could provide it but all this guy wanted to know was if the phone number is valid.  Once I told him yes, he ***g up.
