Many scammers use his name for their scam going back 5-10 years. Some of lost $20k+ (gave to him to help him “s**** a business”). The scam targets older single/divorced/widowed women. Police can’t stop it. The number is registered with a company (number is not a cell number), so there really ain’t a way to track it, it’s a VoIP number.

Kevin They didn't ask for anything, but it does sound rather su****ious, did what they said to. so we will see what happens. More likely nothing will become of this as they haven't asked for a cent, not that I'm giving them anything either. Just be careful when dealing with these people.
