Fake Walmart order scam

J from Chicago i got a text from them, they even know my name, wtf is this.

T in Michigan This number displayed on my work phone caller ID. It called one office extension and then another just a few moments apart. Recorded female voice said, "Sorry, I dialed the wrong number." When I call the number back I get the message that it is not a working number.

KDM Call came in Sat. 6/28 and the on screen ID designated this as a cell phone calling our 518 area code. "Sorry, I dialed the wrong number" was the response at the other end. I thought it strange, so bingo, I get to post another affirmation message.

Anonymous Coward This number called several phone numbers in my department, all had the same pre-recorded voice saying "sorry, I dialed the wrong number." I suspect that this is a bot harvesting "real" phone numbers - seeing if anyone picks up, and potentially what greeting they give.

LB I just got a call from this number. The time now is 10:04 PM. A recording said, "Sorry, I have the wrong number" and then it disconnected. I called the number back and got a recording that said, "The number you have reached is not reachable".

saraj yes this number calls and calls with a recorder that says that my account DONT NOW WHAT ACCOUNT has been declined. to contact them at an 888 number that gets cut off at the end ..i think they are fraud callers
