Claims to be CDC and asking if I have young children in my home.
They claim to be calling from the CDC, and are doing a survey. When asked how they got my number, they said the phone automatically dialed it. When I told the lady I was not interested in parti****ting, she continued asking questions anyway, when I said I'm haning up, she said my number would be redialed.
***king spammers. CDC my****. They called me and asked that if I was doing somthing that requires my full atenttion to leave a call back time, and of course I said "how about never(lol)" and the lady said. "okay, your number will be removed from our list" yet im still getting phone calls.
Calling my seven yr old nonstop!
Jun**** Tired of it!!
No message, no nothin'
Claimed to be calling from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) asking about kids vaccinations. It was around 10 PM Central. I became ****ed and decided to spam back. I said "prove to me that you're calling from the CDC because this is way too late in the night" The lady fumbled and asked "what timezone are you in?" which just proved my point. I retorted "well, what time zone are YOU in?" To which she replied "Eastern" and then, after I said so****ing to the effect of "how the heck would CDC be calling me 11 PM at night?", the lady paused for a moment's and said, "I'm sorry, that was Central" [I am Central so I think she looked me up and decided to go with Central herself]. At this point I s****ed to get real ****ed at the stuff these people were pulling. This is just wrong. The lady gave me a toll free number to call back. I asked for a definitive webpage at the CDC's website listing the toll free number. After this, hilarity ensued. Suffice it to say that I was eventually given a website with www.cdc and "two dots" after that yadda yadda yadda. At which point I just ***g up. Entertain them like I did if you have time. If they call back, I will be very happy to speak with them (provided I am in the mood to pick up). Empower yourself a***nst these spammers.
They said they were calling from the Centers for Disease Control (which is HQ'd in Atlanta, actually), but that they were only talking to personal cell phones, not business cell phones.
