They said they were hiring for Partola Pharmaceutical in California. Scam they went through an entire interview process and said I got the job and we’re gonna send equipment and a sign on bonus, I totally believed it because it’s a real company. I mentioned the phone number is on a scam list and he said “alright” and deleted the entire conversation ?? now if that doesn’t prove it idk what does.

Got a text message after applying for a job on LinkedIn. Said he was with Portola Pharmaceuticals. I was instructed to download Telegram to do an interview and are now in the process of sending me a check and HP laptop and other materials for the job.

(313) 209-4374 was a number used by someone pretending to work at Amgen Inc Company. His name was Andrew Collins which may be not his real name. This person used Telegram chat app for job interviews which is already bogus. However, he sent an actual offer letter with the Amgen company logo. It looks legit. He even overnighted a check for expenses. The check's funds weren't available yet but he said he needs me to set up my work materials. Of course, I was ready to purchase whatever I would be using, but I got a red flag when he started telling me that I need to buy gift cards to send to the vendor that will install software too the laptop. It's fraudulent. I had to contact my bank to pull out the check I Deposited the same day. Be very careful. These scammers are all over the job boards. Never give out any personal info like Social Security, Driver's License, Bank Accounts, etc.

So BEWARE PEOPLE!!! They even told me they were not really her, they were a Black Male and just using her information and pictures to lure people in to send BITCOINS to them!
