This number has shown up several times recently on our caller id, with no message left. We decided to google the number and came to this site. I'm glad I did, and didn't answer the call. The number is almost the same as the one posted, but ends in a 1 instead of 0.
it's simple to stop this on each unwanted call by: 1. contacting your phone service provider for the code to use on your phone to block numbers and reporting it as harassment.2. pick up your local phone book and look in the section of phone options and look for codes such as caller id ie: *69, *86, *87, etc. 3. Personally contact all credit companies to remove you from their promotion calls or set up contact arrangements to fit your needs.4. contact your internet server to see if it is attempt to hack your server. plus check your comp for updates and settings (windows, firewall and ect.)5. :-) buy the loudest noise maker you can fog horn, whistle and say*****o with meaning :-) just kidding.
Every body i know is so sick of these ripp off scam people trying to steal idenity from anybody and everybody. Very soon there will be a system to plug into and power up your phone and zap the phone these people are calling from.It will be so powerfull that it will burn up there cheek and earlobe to the point they have to go to the ER room. I can't wait untull this system comes out.

Male caller asked me if I wanted to upgrade to VISA Macy card. I did just receive the application from Macy ... so I said okay. and ****** me gave him answers to two security questions: 1) What is your birth? 2) what is your mother's maiden name. After thinking about it decided to call Macy to verify. Macy only uses 2 agent to make those calls: 1) by Macy 2) by Citi Bank.Caller did call more than 2 times from caller log ....best to refuse.I've call all Credit card to disable use of that password and turn on fraudlent check for all credit agent.319-730-4170 was displayed number.
This number has popped up a few times on Caller ID. Never answered the call. From the comments above it seems like its a good idea to let it go unanswered.
Offered me a Macy's Platinum Card. Asked for Mother's maiden name.
