I have received 10 phone calls all of them today from this guy with the same name Edward Williams, very annoying, now I know not to take him seriously, I'm glad I'm not the only one receiving these calls, my husband received a similiar call from a guy claiming to be a police officer and that if he did not pay an old payday loan that he would be sending his officers to our home to arrest him and this was in California and we live in NM

I am receiving the exact same phone calls from Edward Williams stating that he has a law suit a***nst me yes it scared the***** out of me but after listening to the comments posted I feel much better but how do they get all of this information he went so far as to call my mother-n- laws home for me it is really aggravating next time i will try telling him that I am going to call the police department as I have seen so many of you have done

I just got another call from patrick i was on the other line so he left me a message and he said he know for a fact that i know the woman he called about and told me if i don't call him back before the end of the day he is calling the police on me and haveing me arrested. i am calling my local police dept and reporting this to them.

Yea, i had too much fun with this one...  tried being friendly while giving NO information and he (edward williams) blew up at me... haha I asked "are you having fun running scams on civil americans?" and he replied "why yes".  then he turned out to be very rude and didnt like the game i was playing, so he ***g up....  cant wait to here form my new "middle eastern" friend with a very american name.bahahah

my guy is edward williams.....tired the "meet me at the  sheriff's office" routine and it seemed to have worked!

What I would like to know how these J*** Off's from this so called company that does not even exist got my Information. This so called Jack Adams, He knows my SS#, Home Address, Place of Work, everything. And on top of that he won't stop calling me. Ignoring the call is easy but then numerous times a day is seriously ****ing me off. What have you guys done about this?

he said the exact same to me. he wasnt trying to hear me or anything. Than it got funny cause i called the people and they said its just a scam so dont answer there telephone call a***n. The things people do.

What's funny is I got the same phone call this morning with a guy with a really thick foreign accent claiming to be Jack Adams, from United Investigations. Telling me I had to pay them $533.33 from a pay day loan company. He told me he would have me arrested as well if I didn't pay them by the end of the day.

just received the same type of call stating that I took out a payday loan and that I needed to pay or that they would send a sheriff to arrest me at my job, when I kept asking for them to fax me the info the gentleman was very rude and stated you are refusing to pay so a Sheriff will be there to arrest you. That SOB scared the **** out of me as I had never had anything like this happen to me. what a ****

Also received a call in broken English, could barely understand the voicemail message that was left also threating me with a "big legal mess" if he did not hear from me or my lkegal representative. Does not identify who he is calling on behalf of or what the nature of the legal problem is.

same guy has been calling me Eric Smith, threatning to arrest me for a 300.00 payday loan and would cost me 3000.00 after all lawyer and court costs. I called a lawyer and she knew exactly who it was and said they were running a scam and she had been looking for him for a long time but they c****e their name and number. You can not be arrested for a debt!!

Too bad they don't call from the US.  It's illegal to impersonate a police officer. I had a similar call.  I called my local police department, and the officer I spoke to said to tell them to meet me in front of the police department and Officer Rick will be there too.  So I did, they ***g up on me and they stopped calling me after that. =)

PHONE SCAM!!!!!!!!!  Claiming to be a federal investigator with criminal charges on a payday loan. knew my social, name, work #, relatives, address... !!!!

They are very secretive on giving out what company they are and won't disclose who they are, unless you tell them your info. Plus these people can't even speak english that well, hard to understand what they are saying.

I received a call from a guy saying that he is an Officer Eric Smith, he has an thick foreign accent. First of all I really couldn't understand what he was say on my voicemail. I left him a message stating that if he keeps calling me I will have his number traced and have the police lock him up for harassment, so he still calls me. I am going to file a complaint with the Seattle Police Department where he is and see what happens from there.

My guy's name is "Officer Eric Smith". The company is a scam trying to collect on bogus loans. FYI...you can not be arrested for a debt. That is a scare tactic for you to give them your banking info to them so they can clean out your account. DO NOT give them any information!!!

Theyare a collection agency who likes to use scare tactics to get people to pay! DO NOT give them any info. They are scammers!!! They will threaten to have you arrested, but that's part of their scare tactics.

I Recived a phone call today from officer chris washington. he stated that the police were going to come to my place of work within the next two hours. I asked him for his information and he would not provide it. This is the 8th time he has called me a work.
