reenie Here's a list of the numbers in addition to the one here that I have been receiving calls from over the last several days....330-259-1072, 518-615-0667, 609-674-9135, 410-713-4798, 732-791-2430. Same song, different vesre for all of them.  I don't answer, they leave a message saying so****ing to the effect that they are calling about an "urgent matter" or so****ing of the sort. They leave various 866 numbers for me to return their call.  (*** CHANCE) No name given, no company name given and they don't ask for a specific person. My husband and I have a spotless credit record so I know the calls cannot be for us.My daughter has had some problems, but has taken care of them.  We pulled her credit report yes****ay and everything has been resolved with the exception of two companies she is still paying and in good standing with.  My guess is that this is definately a scam.  Knowing that a lot of people owe money...they randomly call numbers and try to make it sound "official" and dupe people for informantion and/or money. Unfortunately there are a lot of uninformed people out there that will take there bait!  I'm in the Denver area.  They probably will stop after they have run through all their Denver numbers and prey on some other state.   Amazingly, if you do an area code search all of these numbers come from different states, except two are from New Jersey.  This appears to be a pretty big operation....I even read a post about it being some crime family from NY!  I usually just ignore the calls, or if the ringing bothers me...pick up and immediately **** up.  If it continues, I'll report to the states attorney. One web search I did came up with Global Credit and Collection in Ca***a and NY. Go figure!

this number will not stop calling. i have already stated that i no longer need health insurance and to stop calling!
