The number calls every single day...with a half missing other number

This is likely from a scam caller. I'm only posting so****ing because there was nothing else posted via google. Mother in law received a phone call stating they were doing a criminal investigation on me and is attempting to serve do***ents and is trying to do an employment investigation?!?!...... And stated she must call back, if she does not return the call she will be charged with contempt. Message was recorded and sounded legit if you don't know how the process of serving court do***ents work. I'm at home they would have knocked and I would have been served, no attempt has been made. And why would they hold her in contempt for not returning a phone call.

called my cell looking for a family member stating there's a complaint filed a***nst them. then states to call an 877# to contact the firm in control of this matter & failure to respond will result in the department proceeding without their consent. they don't state what company they're from, if it's a debt collection attempt, what the complaint is about. No clue what is going on. think it's a scam to get money.
