Anonymous I received a text from this number simply saying, “Hi Irene,” which is my name. I asked, “Who is this?” and received no reply.

Received a su****ious text from this number with odd characters in the text body stating "EDD(the second "D" was underscored)- a new login (the "g" in login had an accent above it) was detected in Flint, Michigan visit http://e-d-d-safety022.duckdns.org/a if that was not you." A reverse number lookup indicates this is a landline in Abilene, TX.

THIS IS A KNOWN HACKER NAMED POWELL. IF YOU GET ANY CALLS FROM THIS MAN I SUGGEST YOU CALL THE POLICE. HE IS ARMED AND A VERY DANGEROUS PERSON. HE WAS JUST ARRESTED FOR WEAPONS CHARGES, DRUG TRAFFICKING AND A LOT MORE. HE IS A ******PATHY, AN EXPERT HACKER AND MUCH MORE. I BELIEVE HE IS CRIMINALLY INSANE. CALL THE POLICE IF THIS NUMBER CALLS YOU. HAVE THE COPS CHECK IT OUT. IT'S A THIRD PARTY APP THAT CAN BE TRACED WITH A SUBPOENA.

This number is being used in a scam involving drink stickers that are applied to your car for advertising purposes. Customers are being offered $400-$500/ week to drive around with the stickers on their vehicle. This is a total scam. Once you deposit the check he sends and then send him the money he requests, the original check gets returned and you are out the money you sent him.
