iPhone User I received a text from this number saying “ Julie, come to my house tomorrow night for a party!” I’ve had this phone for a couple years now so it was weird considering I’m not Julie lol. I’m scared to text it back because I thought it was some kind of scam.

A person attempted to Catfish me from this number. The person claimed to be a female and had photos of an attractive female on Facebook. The person told me they were from Jacksonville FL but has an Auburn, AL number. The person told me that she lived close to Miami and that she could take a taxi from Jacksonville to Miami, which anyone who knows anything about Florida knows this is not true. The person told me they moved from the US to London and was calling me from London, even though they were using an Alabama phone number. The person told me they worked at a sculpture shop in the Heathrow area of London. There is no such shop in the Heathrow area of London. The final straw was when the person asked me to pay their Verizon phone bill here in the U.S. because they were having difficulty paying their phone bill in London. This is when I discontinued contact with this person. All of this took place over a period of 4 days.

Irs scam

Annoyed I tell them my husband is not in, they say they will call back and **** up before I can say anything else. What good does it do to have our number on the national DO NOT CALL list? They may not be selling anything but we still don't want even a political survey calling.

This number calls me on my direct line at work everyday at least 2 times per day. They never say anything and seem not to be on the other end when I answer the phone. It's very annoying.

Carole I keep getting these messages and cannot return the calls; there are no answers on any of the calls; not even a computer message.  I am sure the AG's office would love to hear about them!
