Anonymous Phone number was****ociated with a scam

Hi

This is some kind of computer generated marketing phone number or so****ing. I've received many robot calls and text messages from the same en***y marketing a factory car warranty. After I recieve a few calls or messages from this company I'll block the number and after a day or so I s**** getting the same calls and messages only from a different number. This was one of the numbers that I got calls and text from. I've tried calling this number and several of the other numbers back and they usually aren't working numbers. Some of them will ring sometimes and some don't do anything and sometimes when a number doesn't work an hour later it will work and a recording will answer and I've even had a person answer on a few occasions. Each number that did have a person answer it was a different person and they all acted as if they had no knowledge of ever calling me and acted like they didnt know what I was talking about. Each number that had someone answer at one point either was not a working number or it made some weird computer sounds like the sound that dial up internet used to make when you would get online using a computer 20 plus years ago. Or sometimes they ring and then go to a busy signal or ring and stop ringing. They all do so****ing out of the ordinary. And each number has a different listing from a different location somewhere in the US and they are all either personal landlines or mobile phones. It's very strange and annoying. I think this marketing company may be temporarily stealing peoples phone numbers somehow to make spam calls using the victims phone service so that they don't have to pay for their own phone service or so they can call from many different numbers in case you try and block them and not have to have a bunch of phone numbers that can be tied back to them.
