This number has called me as well and has stated that his name is Derek Smith with ACH and has a heavy Indian Accent.  This number is located in New York and is a scam.  They will threaten and continue to call you if you respond to them, just **** up.  What they are attempting to do is get you to wire them money you do not owe.  Possibly at one time you may have taken out a pay day loan or applied for one on-line and they have been able to intercept your information.  Do Not confirm any of your information with them as they will repeat your name ssn# and or family contacts, just **** up and they will eventually stop calling you.

Received a call at my work from this number stating that they were calling about charges to be pressed a***nst me. When I called back they said they were Affidavit Consolidation Services, which are noted as scammers in several places on the web - I spoke to a William Scott with a very heavy Indian accent. Stated he was a legal counsel. I asked for a fax number - he gave me one that doesn't work and I said thank you & ***g up.

My caller ID showed this number.
