i just had someone call with a middle eastern accent who calls himself; Daniel Smith called me back to back after i asked him not to... I asked  him to send all legal do***ents to my home, if he had my info then he surely has my address. Supposedly i have a legal action as of last year, because that is how long this person has been calling me. He has called portraying himself as a FBI agent in Florida. My manager is getting very upset due to the persistent calls and arrigant at***ude this man has. He claims that i owe a payday loan, but will not release the name of the loan company. He wants my bank info and i told him where he can put it.  I stated that if he continued i will file charges for harras*****t. He said, " you cant do that i work for a legal firm"! i told him if you work for a legal firm, then you should know that you cant be harrassing people like this. So****ing needs to be done! this is ridiculous. This man has so many different names and ***les. They are full of s$$$.

I don't know how these guys got my information. But they're calling using an Florida number. If I find out who they are, I'm initiating an FDCPA class action.But who am I kidding, these people may not even be in the US. The best advice I can give is to report the number to the service provider saying that criminal activity is being conducted over the number to get them to investigate. Also, your state and the Florida Attorney General's office along with the FTC may enforce so****ing here if enough of us complain.

I just got a call from middle eastern sounding man also at work name Erik Johnson-Please be careful he always calls from a loud call center like and has been calling from different numbers but same guy different name everytime!!!

I am manager of a school supplies company and this **** who now calls himself Wiilliam Vincent keeps calling and harrassing my cashiers. Now he his being fresh on the phone and asking the ladies out on dates. This **** has to be stopped.......

Got the same # calling me however 10 times in 10 minutes.  I knew it was fraud when this Middle Eastern loser said his name was Joe Marshall.  He tried to tell me he was with McGoogin Law firm in Brooklyn NY and that I have a case pending a***nst me.  I asked for his bar****ociation # in NY.  He gave me his bar****ociation # 56125.  He claimed I applied and received $$ from Cash Net. Just for the record I never got a loan from them nor do they have any record of me in their system. Also during the 10 harrasing phone calls he made he also called me a *****, threatened me and ***g up on me about 5 times yet continued to call back every 2 seconds.  Also, this **** asked for my manager at work. Knew where I worked, and knew my social security # as well.  I called the fraud department on him and filed a complaint.  They are very familiar with this man's scheme and operation. I will make sure he is DEPORTED!! I will also make sure he loses his job, gets arrested and I will close this operation down single handedly if need be.  When I called him back to let him know I am making formal charges he laughed at me and ***g up on me. He gave me a fraudulent # for Cash Net when I asked to contact them directly myself. The # he gave me for him is the # above. The fake # he gave me for Cash Net is 916-745-8400.  They answer the phone and say "Advanced Cash".  I said you are bsted now buddy. Thought this is the # for Cash Net? He said yes we are called that as well and are based out of Brooklyn NY. For the record Cash Net is based out of Chicago. I told him he better getr his story straight and fast!!!

I received a call at work the other day from a who said his name was Andrew Taylor and he was calling from ACS a coworker got the call and emailed me the message as I was not in that day. He said it was very important that I return the call and left the # 347-289-3901. I didnt return his call. On Friday my son got a call at home from a man named Aaron White my son told him I wasnt home he would leave a message he just said he would call me back which he did. He told me that I defaulted on a payday loan and was in trouble he then transfered me to the "lead attorney" who I couldnt understand at all (they both had very heavy Indian accents) he began telling me that he was representing some company a***n I couldnt understand what he was saying. I told him I didnt even know who they were and was told they were the parent company for about 35 payday loan companies. He then wanted me to confirm my ss# he read off my email address and named several people I know. I had this happen to me last year so I knew what this was about. I told him if he couldnt send me the paperwork which he refused to do unless I made payment arraingments so the company would know that I really wanted to take care of this matter then he wasnt getting any information out of me and I would be contacting the Attorney General, Home Land Security and the Secrect Service, then I told him to have a nice day and ***g up. I have tried to call the number they left me at work but I dont get any answer

Hi, I got a call about 2 months ago from a man saying he was Charles Hall and he advised me to have myself and my attorney of record call him because I owed his company money, this was from a 562 area code...he read me my home address, ss#, date of birth and knew where I worked! I made complaints to the office of the Attorney General in both California & NJ but never heard anything...this 562# is all over the internet as well and then s****ing last week I s****ed getting calls from 0000000000 with one message left by a man identifying himself as a Joe Marshall and to please call him back at 347-289-3901...it sounded like the same guy who call me before, "Charles Hall". Today the call came in a***n twice from the 0000000000 and then a***n from 347, so I answered and this guy threatened to give out all of my information...he actually read me my ss#!!!!!! How do we stop this? This is harrassment and iden***y theft as far as I'm concerned and I want to sue the pants off of this guy!

I have been receiving several phone calls for the past week on my cell showing 0000000 or"unknown". I do not answer and then a voice mail was left.  This person has such a heavy Indian accent I could hardly understand him and then he announces his name and number (347-289-3901) and he saids it is Ross Taylor....really!!!!!! He proceeds to tell me he has the last 4 digits of my social and it would be in my best interest to call him back and repeats the name and number along with the fact they are suing me for a loan I have not paid back.  Of course I was scared and not sure what the***** he was talking about and then my sister calls me telling me a person calling her on her cell phone asking if she has a sibling by the name of Linda and uses my last name and she of course saids yes and then he proceeds to tell her that I am being sued and said I better call him back.  Of course she calls me freaking out and now I am having to explain to her that I am sorry she is involved and I have no idea what the heck is going on.Well I call him back and of course I can't understand a **** word he is saying and he s****s to speak very slowly after I tell him so.  I tried to be nice at first and then when I realized that this man has to be crazy because I have never gotten a loan through Pay Day or anywhere else on line.  But...he had the name of my bank, last four digits of my social, my email address (which is no big deal) but then calls my sister on her cell  phone, I became outraged.  He said there were 3 lawsuits a***nst me and I asked him for do***entation and he then s****s to quote me some sort of Federal Law bull*&#! and I told him to ***** himself and he was out of his mind.  Now....I am worried because he has all this info, CAN HE DO ANYTHING WITH THIS????

I have been receiving harassing phone calls at home, work and on my cell threatening a legal impending matter.  When I called them back I spoke to a John Marshall then a John Hudson; of which, I'm convinced are the same person. I have asked them to send me a copy of an alleged contract that I owe on, to this date I have yet to receive anything.  I receive about 10 calls a day.  I will be contacting the BBB and the Dept of Consumer Affairs.  Any other words of wisdom?

These people i have read about on this forum are calling me...Joe Marshall is my attendant though. They say i owe on a debt for a friend of mine..Knowing her name and all..Such ******s!!

The latest evolution of the "pay day collections" scam. Instead of claiming to be from law enforcement, they claim they are from a debt consolidation service that is contacting you because of an "impending action a***nst your name and social security number".

Same as above. It is a scam. They have hacked someones website and got information. That's how they have all your info. They claim to be at 3001 new York rd Brooklyn ny 12005. Joe Marshall was the callers name. Needless to say I have turned it over to the police.

They call me almost everyday from multiple numbers including 347-289-3901.  I have made a police report and c****ed my cell number...now they call my office.  Everytime they call me i call them back and harass them back!!  I kept calling the other day and probably called them every name in the book. They wouldn't answer..I kept ****ing the number up until finally they s****ed answering saying they were the grand hotel...they really don't like when you harass them back..lol.  Anyway they accuse me of the same things that I owe some payday loan and the police told me to ask for do***entation which they never send.  Frank, Robert and Jack keep calling only they don't sound like that would be their names of course they sound Indian decent....Today I am just getting my office number c****ed I'm sick of playing games with these people!

About 2 weeks ago I s****ed getting calls from "Mac Dawson", "Ross Taylor", "Joe Marshall".  It began with they said I owed them $500 for a Payday Loan I received but never paid it off.   I asked them who was the company, they would not tell me.  They had my cell number, my work number and have continued to call me for the pas two weeks.  Today it got really bad.  I told them flat out I wasn't paying them and they need to stop harrassing me and if I owed them I wanted to see the original contract.  They said I hadn't seen harrassment and they said they had 1500 people working for tham and they would have all of them call my work.  They kept calling when I didn't answer my phone rolled over to 3 of my co workers.  They asked the co worker who to forward them to my manager.  They asked who was my manager's supervisor and the owner of the company.  They were of Middle Eastern/Indian decent.  I called the Dept of Consumer Affairs in my state.  They told me to tell them to send me the original contract I signed and to "assit & decease"  If I continue to receive the calls they recommded I call teh Attorney General of the USA, which I will do.  I was very scared.

This type of scam has been going on for awhile. Someone "s****'s" a number on a computer. This is where someone with the technology, can type in a phone number and make it look like someone from that phone number is or has called them. When they see (for example) Bank of America on the caller ID, people****ume it is safe. IT IS NOT! Your Bank will NEVER call you and ask you your account number. It is next to impossible to trace or track the actual nuber and location they are using. You can make a report to your local police and/or Secret Service Office, since they are stealing securities. Keep a log of the dates and times and if you can what was said. You do not have to answer these calls. These individuals have scared elderly into thinking that they are with some law enforcement agency and if they did not pay money right now, their grandson or daughter was going to jail. This is not true!Pass this information on!

Just received another call this time from 973-735-5438.  A guy named "McDawson" he called me looking for someone Jessica.  Apparently she had already paid them (Poor soul) and he was calling to get the numbers off of the back of her card.  I told him I was her husband he says to call him back.  But get this the number told me to call him back on was 347-289-3901.  This is definitely proves that this is a fraudulent organization.  JESSICA if you are out there stop payment IMMEDIATELY !!

I received a call at WORK from this number today.  They had left a message for me before I arrived at work.  But while I was there they called a***n.  They also sounded like they were in a call center  The guy was of indian decent and said his name was "John Hudson"  When i asked what the call was in reference to he stated that he was calling in regards to a PAYDAY Loan and name some people I knew, as well as the last four of my social and my email address.  He says the loan company placed the funds in my account and I haven't paid the loan off. Problem is  I've never applied for a loan, and I ask the guy what bank account the funds were supposed to be deposited into, he replies that he cannot release private information.  I ask if he could give me an address to his building so I could send him a copy of a bank statement( I really wasn't because by then I knew so****ing was wrong but i was just probing the guy.) he tells me that his address is Brooklyn New York.  When I ask for his street name and number he says, "look it up" .  I **** up and call back later and ask the guy who answers the phone what company it was, he gives me a fake web address, and says his name was "John Williams" how convenient everybody's name is John,  I ask to speak with John Hudson, I can hear him covering the phone with his hand and talking to someone and gets "John Hudson" on the phone.  Im thinking that this has to be a scam.  I will be reporting them as soon as possible.  Until then I'll be calling them everyday to bother them :)

I just got a call from this number 3472893901 and about 10 calls from 0000000000.  Indian accented man says he is Jake Brown with ACS and has my information incl social security number. Says I need to call to stop so****ing bad from happening. He ended the call saying repeat, ask for JACK Brown, this time. I just got rid of this same type of scam couple weeks agao.  A***n they were eastern Indians saying they have an affadavit for me and I would be picked up if I didn't pay immediately $729.  He said if I didn't pay and was taken to court , then I would owe $12, 000.  I was afraid at first and gave a debit card number (a prepaid with nothing on it) and got online resear****g this.  At that time , he claimed to be Frank Martin then Brian Davis with United Nations Legal Dept.  Of course, they are not with the UN.  I called these people back and hounded them, telling I know they are a scam, illegally purchasing people's infor and scamming money.  I reported them to the FTC with all the numbers they gave.  I told this guy that and he ***g up on me.  I called a***n and told him I knew they were crooks. He ***g up a***n.  I blocked the number they had given before but now it has s****ed a***n with this ACS thing.  Everyone-- do not pay these crooks. Please.

I received a call from this same number.  He sounded Indian and it also sounded like a loud call center.He said his name was "Mike Morris" and this same man also called from 1-347-602-***2.  I got the bit about the "blessed day", also.  He's trying to collect on a debt that doesn't exist.  Please, everyone, if you receive calls of this type, just **** up and don't even call them back if they leave a message on your home phone answering ma****e.

Today I received a call from a blocked number (it showed up as 000000000).  The same E. Indian/Middle Eastern that calls from 206-855-5350 so look up that number for more details on these crooks and what they do, this must be their newest number. He left a message saying they were trying to collect on a payday loan that a friend of mine had used me as a reference on and that he needed to call Officer Mike Morris back at 347-289-3901 or my friend would not like the procedures taken on him.  A***n it sounded like he was calling from a loud call center. He went on to say he was calling on behalf of financial companies a***nst to my friend and he would not like the results.  This time instead of good luck he wished me a blessed day.  These crooks will try anything!  I have yet to return the call but will post updates.  (call type list Debt Collector only because Fraud Debt Collector was not a choice) J
