CALLER FOR IRS "SERVICES"

It's interesting how these calls supposedly originate out of different Texas counties but yet the base phone is located somewhere else and last tracked in New York! I do know there is someone else in the Washington D.C area doing the same thing! This is getting out of hand! O.K. WHERE IS OUR "HOMELAND SECURITY" NOW WHEN YOU NEED THEM???

Spam. Do not call back. I wish there was a way to block this phone number

This is a fake IRS debt collection call. The IRS never calls like this. Spend some time harassing THEM the next time they call. Tell them to look up their number on the Internet. Tell them they being horrible people.

Received several calls from the same person from different numbers. This call was from 213-141-5163 telling me that this was Officer from the IRS and this is my official and final notice that a lawsuit had been filed a***nst me. Need to call 347-478-5055

Another attempt to frighten us with IRS scare. Why would the IRS sue us?

I have received 3 messages from this number stating he was a IRS officer and I was due to have a law suit filed a***nst me. Before I called him back I checked his number on the internet. When I called him, I told him his number was flaged as a scam phone number. He ***g up on me.

I decided to call out of curiosity. A guy by the name of Officer Austin Ruther with a badge number IRM12581 already new my name and address (probably from caller ID). I told him this was fraud and ***g up. I reported him the IRS.

My message was that the IRS is suing me. I'm going to see if there is someone to whom this can be reported so the number is shut down.

*NOTE* this is a VOIP PBX phone that will UNBLOCK any caller ID blocking you may have setup so if you return their call, they know your number. They claim to be an 'officer' with the internal ***** services (sounds like IRS - not quite) - so they impersonate an officer of the government trying to steal from you saying you are being sued. Total SCAM.

Called with pre-recorded message (garbled audio - Clue 1) stating they were from the Internal Revenue Services (Clue 2) and that there was a federal investigation (Clue 3).

Claimed to be IRS. Left VM about Federal Investigation.

Called saying not ignore message, IRS doesn't conduct an investigation with a recorded message, probably trying to get all my info to steal iden***y … and the # is unavailable

They left me a voicemail saying I have a Federal investigation that is ongoing and I must return the call to this #. - I cannot ignore.

When I called back he said they were from the IRS saying my IRS account has been jeopardize. They wanted my SS#. I'm sure the IRS has number if they were legit.
