Anonymous Fraud scam ***ual solicitation

Just got a call at my business from someone claiming to be ***ociated with UF asking for one of my kids "UF Alumnus"

She said, “my name is Melissa from the UF and to please give her a callback or they will try another time”. She never said my name though.

Didn't answer. Left VM that sounded like dial up internet

352-392-2908/"Univ FL Bru Eco" called my # but didn't even bother leaving a VM. I've received a call from this same # earlier this month. Went ahead & blocked their #--I don't wanna get any more calls from them. Don't know what they want...I've never contacted them before, so I don't know why they're calling me??

Texted - asked if we wanted to sell our house.

This number has nothing to do with University of Florida even though they claim to be associated. They never leave a message. Not sure if it's a scam or what but the university itself says it is not them.

I blocked the call but they still keep calling. they've called me three times already tonight.

Angel Received a call from this number. Person said his name was Bret, would not give me his last name. Requested to talk with my son who does not live in Gainesville. Referenced the college he graduated from and said it was just a courtesy call. I refused to give him any information and he would not tell me the real reason for his call. Someone is trying to get money. Another scammer!!! Persons be aware.

says from u of f research doing survey and knew my teenage sons name.

Don't know who this is but they should not have this mobile number, I'm guessing tele market of some sort

I lived in Gainesville for a bit. No desire to even visit again much less give $ to the U of F... They still got my # from somewhere & persistently call w/o leaving any messages.

I knew it was UF once I saw the area code...brings back memories

It is Shands Hospital at the University of Florida. They are calling for former patients to do a survey. If you were never a patient there, it is possible your number once belonged to a patient or a patient used your number falsely.

I had call at 10:00 PM on my cell , male voice asked me what language I speak? As soon as I told him he hung up on me. Very odd and scarry.

Jeffery L Rush The above message could have been written by me!!!!  We got yet another call tonight second in two nights.  I called UF Alumni Association on the number in our cell phone and gave them the message not once but 5 times that they need to stop calling me or no more money to them.  Is this a scam being perbetrated by another entity or what?????  In addition, I have called information to get the number for the UF Alumni Association and will call them tomorrow.

GatorMom Calls, then hangs up.  This is the UF Alumni call center.  I left them a message and will follow up with the university if this happens again.
