Leave a CommentReceived another one of these calls approx. 9:30 am this morning, Caller ID said: Credit Services #360-633-9001. We haven't rec'd calls form this so-called business for awhile. What is interesting is that recently we have had an increase in not only calls of this type but junk mail commonly referred to as 'firm offers' to our home. I discovered much to my dismay was one reason for this increase was because we recently went to our bank to re-finance our house. They do a 'credit report', and when they run a credit report, you are basically giving the three major credit reporting companies permission to sell/rent whatever your name, address & telephone to credit card & insurance companies. The reason I figured this out was on the back of one of these offers, under the Opt-Out notice, all three of the credit reporting agencies were listed with the instructions to either call this one 888# or to individually write to all three companies. I called the 888# and we still had to wait for paperwork to come via postal services for us to sign in order to opt-out.
Recorded message from Card Services to lower the interest rate of my credit card. I pressed #1 key and when a representative replied, I screamed my head off and **** up. This is my revenge to those con artists. You should do it.
Call repeatly, I don't have any unpaid debts. Wish they would leave us alone.
This # called me, my answering ma****e got the call , They just **** up ! I ''HATE''' **** up calls , REALY , how much time does it take to say, Oh sorry I got the wrong number !!! But that is just it, they are wanting to talk to a person , NOT a ma****e, ""SCAMMERS""" !!! I agree with some of the other comments, It is some ***** head ******, looking for some money to buy drugs !
I get the same recorded message from Credit Services always from "Heather" from different numbers. The messages use to come from a Florida number and I'm pretty sure the Attorney General shut them down due to the number of complaints they received. It looks like they moved their operation to another state. They also call about car warranties. They are a scam so don't do business with them they are trying to get your credit card information.
This is a company that wants to give you a better interest rate when I stayed on the line to tell them not to call anymore the man ***g up on me I have reported it to the Do Not call Registry since I have been on there for ever!! What is the point of having a do not call registry if it doesn't do so****ing to ones that violate it?
Came up with this # and said Credit Services. Not knowign the #, I let it go to the ma****e.They ***g up.
Pre-recorded message offering to lower my credit card interest rates and instructing me to press 1 to speak to someone. Did so and got someone with poor English (Indian maybe) who claimed they were calling on behalf of Mastercard/Visa. When I asked which credit card they were calling about they listed Bank of America, Citibank, Chase, etc. They said that since I was such a good customer, etc. they could lower my interest rate. The said that I had a credit card balance of over $3000 on which I was paying over 10% interest. When I told them that this was incorrect - that I owed nothing to any credit card company, they ***g up. I called back and got a recording that said I could be placed on their do not call list by pressing the number 2.
Called--no message.
I got the same call. Called back and got a message to press 2 to be removed from list.I'm filing an electronic complaint http://www.fcc.gov/formpage.html go to form 1088
When there was a pause when I answered phone I was wary. Beginning of message****ured me my credit card payment was not overdue. Since I do not have a credit card, I ***g up.
I thank all of you who take the time to update these phony numbers. Makes my life easier ... makes me laugh (re: Bob: "I was just getting warmed up." I think we should all come up w/ phony card numbers and security numbers, etc., and let them waste their time trying to "run" them. But, ultimately, it's easier to not even answer the calls if you have caller ID.
I have heard that Iden***y Theft and Credit Fraud are very frequently used by those who abuse ****-Amphetamine.
I got a call from that number at 4:43 PM Alabama Time, and I noticed the same abnormalities that "PWF" reported. The caller stated that time was limited on the offer, but since I have plenty of patience I believe that there is always plenty of time, and ***ody is going to make me hurry to make a decision, and furthermore limiting my time is a sign of a scam anyway. The caller said that he could lower interest rates on my Visa or Master Card Account, but I asked what specific card he was referring to, but he never stated a specific name of any particular bank except that he handled "Bank Of America" "Chase" etc.. I told him that it seemed that he was just "canvassing" and that he seemed to have no idea of what card I may even have or if I had a card at all for that matter. There is a real danger in this kind of phone call due to the caller not knowing anything about what kind of card you even have. I strongly suspect that the caller planned to obtain that information from me. He may have wanted me to give him my credit card type and my credit card number and possibly even the security code on the back of the card so the he could "help" me to lower my interest rate.Anyone who has given that much information to such a caller should consider this to be an Extreme Emergency, and that unfortunate consumer should report the incident to the actual credit card company and bank and also to the Federal Trade Commission at http://www.FTC.govDon't dismiss this event as being totally harmless. It is likely that the caller is going to put Fraudulent Charges onto your credit card that will totally wipe you out.Anyway I never even told him if I even had a credit card, much less the any number.I'm already primed to suspect everyone of being a con artists, and I totally despise them because they are a vile pack of worthless "tweekers" who I believe should be wiped off the face of the planet. I believe that is the best argument in favor of making a mandatory ***** sentence for using ****.
credit service to lower card ratewhen asked what card they **** updefinite fraud!
This # called me, and said they could lower my interest rate. to 6.9%. I waited online and got some jack*** that I could not understand at all.So I garbled some junk to him and he ***g up? HOW rude, I was just getting warmed up.
360 633 9001 calls and ****s up when the answering ma****e picks up. probably a scam or skip tracer,
Called and told me they were from Visa and said because I make my payments on time, they could lower the interest rate to 6.9%. I told them I had just spoken to Chase and they are not lowering interest rates for anybody. who are they? She then said with various companies: Bank of America, chase, etc. and how much was my credit card balance. I told her that if she really was from my credit card service dept. she would have that info in front of her already and I wasn't giving it to her. I repeated that Chase is not lowering interest rates and that I thought this was a scam. she ***g up.
