One of the major players specializes in aiding the rich with tax evasion and shell corporations set up in Belize. You can bet that the well to do in this country are not getting lower your credit card interest rate calls and due to that fact our government just considers a few phone calls a minor annoyance. The FCC has temporarily halted 5 of the minor non profitable boiler rooms. They will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since the major money is being made with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like http://www.telephonemanagement.net In their own words: Every day your company makes thousands of outbound phone calls. Every one of those calls generates revenue for many companies, why not yours? Our CNAM revenue-sharing program helps you make money every time a Caller ID request is made by a phone carrier. A high-traffic call center can lose ***dreds to thousands of dollars a day to phone carriers by allowing them to charge for access to your own data. You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their con then it is just icing on the cake for them. These people are the lowest form of filth on this planet. The only way to stop this is to contact the FBI and ask why this crime family is allowed to operate and facilitate the ongoing criminal operations. This is one of the reasons that the RICO act was put in place, so why aren't they using it. Is this because this isn't a high profile, news worthy operation or is the FBI too understaffed and busy with Homeland Security issues. Maybe if we were rich they would take this seriously, but then if we were rich we would be using that criminal organizations services and protecting them instead of trying to shut them down. There is a blog site that has information on one of these operations: http://telemarketerspam.wordpress.com
Called today at 435pm eastern, left no message
Received call from this number saying I could lower credit card rate. Pressed 1 when a man came on phone he asked how he could help me and I asked him what credit card cause I have none, and well he ***g up on me! Total SPAM!!
Received a call from this number. I do not answer numbers I do not recognize. They left no message. I am on the Do Not Call List, which apparently is useless since I am still receiving unsolicited calls.
I didn't recognize the area code so didn't answer it. They left no message so it was not important. I guess it was a spammer and I too am on the Do Not Call list

Recieved a phone call at 8:30ish am on my cell phone. I didn't answer, no message was left. I found this list for the number called it back and it gave me an Opt out notice and I opted out. It said to wait 24 to 48 hours to be removed from their list.
At 2:16PM San Diego Time I received the call from this #. I did not answer. They did not leave a message. I called back the number and there was a recording letting me know to opt out of this marketing call...So I did. Hopefully my number doesn't get transfered to other Marketing Call Center....
Called me at 9:30 central time. Did not answer. Left no voice mail.
As previous notes, automated offer to lower credit card rates. No card mentioned, instructions to press "1" to speak with a live operator about this opportunity that would end soon. Up to no good it seems.
They called at 9:40 am central time on my cell #. I did not answer because the number was from WA...I do not know anyone from there! They did not leave a message.
Called today at 10:00 and I did not answer, did not leave a message and did not call back.
Possible credit card scam number. Automated service says press one to lower my credit card interest rate.
Called the number back and got a message that stated it was an automated service for opting out of tele-marketing.
