I received a text regarding a remote job offer. If I were interested, they would send a link with the information. When I asked how they got my information, they responded that they randomly picked the phone number from a software program in WhatsApp. When I deleted the text and reported it as a scam on my phone, they kept texting me that I would earn $4000-$6000 a month for the job, and I needed to apply now. Be aware of this scam going on, which scammers use to steal your personal and bank information.

When I answered they ***g up immediately. This number has called my phone several times before but I don't usually answer numbers I don't recognize.
