Leave a CommentThe same story as other numbers that have called me almost 3 or 4 times daily. All numbers are then DISCONNECTED.They refer to "A SPECIAL CREDIT CARD RATE-LAST CHANCE."
Completely a scamI told the guy I was on a do-not-call list, he proceeded to tell me it was an unsolicited call, when the night before they had called me and told me they were trying to "lower my credit on ANY of my credit cards" ... REAL convincing and specific...The guy proceeded to get a horrible at***ude with me, I asked to speak to a supervisor he said "I am a supervisor" so I told him he had a "terrible at***ude for a supervisor" to which he replied "You know what, we're going to keep calling you." and ***g up on me.Extremely sketchy and unprofessional. Also when I told him to take my name off their list he said "well what is your name" I said "I don't know, there's THREE people in this household, you tell me what name it is" and he said he "could not give out names" - Total b.s. - if you're calling me, you tell me whose calling. So I said look up my number and delete it, he made me give him my phone number, which they obviously already had because they called me.He claimed it was an "unsolicitated" call... which should have been "unsolicited" great grammar for a "business professional."Don't bother with this number, it's a scam.Oh and when you try to call it back, it says the number has been disconnected, obviously so that no one can get back to them to report them.
:) give it right back in return (:i chose to press 1,a guy answered and asked me: who am i speaking to?I REPLY: u tell me what my name is, since your the 1 calling me with a offer.HE REPLIED: huh? excuse me?!I REPLIED: yes, you need to be excused, you're taking up my time. since your calling me & you claim to have an account of mine that needs attention. you should have the information in front of you ready, without me telling you a thing. I have questions for you, do you have the answers???HE REPLIED: oh wow & he ***g up immediately.!!he was s***chless & shocked!!if we all respond like this, im sure it'll eventually stop.additionally, whatever steps need 2 be done 2 put a complete stop to this.MY RESPONSE TO THIS:386-736-7962this number called today & has a recording: "tried to call you several times with an important message about your credit card account." It then says to press 1 for more information or 2 if you want your eligibility to lower credit card rates permanently disabled. We continued to receive calls even after selecting option 2.
I pressed 1 for more information, but asked to be taken off of the phone list- the lady ***g up on me. They have called several times before. I called back and got a message that it was the wrong number or was disconnected.
