Another Telemarketer. I called the number and it said press 1 to be placed on the do-not-call list.

Called my Go Phone, which I have only for emergencies, so almost no one has the number; did not leave a message.

WindsorFox The same as 401-365-6268 except peddeling ADT alarms instead of scam extended car warranties. My number is in my state and the national Do Not Call lists. Got this call about a home security alarm. It is unsolicited and it was an automated call. The company says they were "Home Security Center #397" and after a few questions transferred my call to Saveology.com, who claimed to be the largest reseller of ADT alarm in the US. ADT, has never heard of them. This most likely is the same ******bag company that has been behind the "Heather with account services" credit card scam and the extended auto warranty scams in the past. I have phoned complaints to ADT, and saveology.com and shall be filing a repost with the FTC and the FCC.

They Called Me Also They called me and ***ody was on the line. That means their ma****e was dialing too fast. It doesn't mean they are a scam. If they are offering auto warranty packages and you need one, do your homework on them and see if it works for you. Auto warranty packages are provided by insurance companies which is the most heavily regulated industry there is. For someone to try to scam you in that field, they would be a fool. Its a certain prison sentence for running a scam in that field and in order to get licensed to sell insurance you can't be a ghost which means the person can't hide or fly under the radar. I think we should give people a little more of a chance. Cold calling is a tough gig but it creates jobs. It doesn't take much for you as the consumer to do your homework on a company and decide "yes or no". Don't shut the door on them before you know who or why they are calling. Its really not so bad to take a call from a phone solicitor. No, I am not a phone solicitor by trade but I am in sales and I do col callabout 1 full day per week to doctors offices to sell medical equipment when my ads in magazines are not generating calls. FYI- all auto warranty prices are negotiable. Probably 40% off the first asking price is where you should end up.Caller: Providence RI
