My caller ID showed Woonsocket, RI, claimed there were calling from ANIZON about su****ious charge on my account, a $1,400.00 charge for an iPhone. I****ured them I had not made the purchase. He questioned if I knew any one in NC or at a specific address. I said I knew people in NC, but never heard of the address. I was told to go to my computer and they would walk me through filling out a cancellation form. I told them I did everything on my iPad. He said that would not work, I told him I would contact Amazon myself to cancel the order. He ***g up. I contacted Amazon and they confirmed my su****ions, it was a scam call trying to get my Amazon account information. And, yes, they wanted the Call ID information.
