yeah, this number calls me at least every other day about my cars warranty and how its about to expire.i dont even have a car.hmmmmmmm....

I also live in Texas and got the same call on my cell phone on 7/21/08.  I believe I heard on one of our local tv stations that this is definitely a scam.  I can't remember what the scam is - wish I could and wish I had paid more attention.

received call @ work - "mike" wanted me to press1 to hire a lawyer to fight foreclosure - don't even own a house!

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. when I called the number back I got an out of service message.?

I answered the call and caller ***g up. Called back and got recording of "phone number is no longer in service"

Scammy thing about an auto warranty.

This number just called my cell phone...I never answer weird numbers unless I know who they might be. I live in Texas and I have never heard of this area code before. They did not leave a voicemail and when I tried to call the number back it said that the number was no longer in service. This was less than five minutes after the number had called my phone...HAS to be a scam.

I received the same call, it must be a scam. they are sending fake caller id info. if you call back the number is never in service and the call always comes from a former cellular number.

Wanted to put a warrenty on my car... Haha... I own a 1980 CommutaCar... ­ I told them if you knew my warrenty was about to expire... they would know what kind of car I had!

7/21/08 11:41am EST - Just got a call from 401 762-5986 to my Verizon Cell phone. Said this is 2nd notice about warranty about to expire on my car.Get same call, different number EVERY SINGLE NIGHT for about a week to my wife’s Verizon cell phone.

Called, but no message.
