Just got a call from this number a***n asking to speak to the man of the house like the previous posters mentioned.  I said I don't want to talk to anyone selling anything.  They said this was a survery about recycling and I said no and ***g up.  BS.  Block these POS's

This number called****raying to be a survey company.asked a few questions and then every question they asked a pause and "cut out" sound would follow.  I asked if this conversation was being recorded and they said yes.I ***g up.

called up and began into a "survey" asked some questions but was recording my answers. I asked if I was being recorded and "John" said yes. I ***g up.

Called my cell, told them where to go and how to get there... Funny how fast they **** up.

CTV has carried a story in calgary about this one.  They are trying to get control of your computer and claiming that you contacted them for technical help.  it is a scam.  Go to CTV CAlgary and link to consumer rereports  (I donlt have it handy)  and they tell you all about these shysters.  simply ask them where they got this information and tell them you do not have a computer.  I told them they had reached the Microsoft help desk and how could i****is them.  the guy must have filled his pants!

My wife received one call where the person claimed to be from Microsoft, but failed to give his name.

Got a call. He said that he got my phone number through my IP address and is getting spam e-mails. He said that he works with Microsoft and there is a setting that is not enabled on my computer. He asked me when the last time was that I was on the internet. Then he asked if I was the one that works on my computer, or is it a computer shop that does any repairs. He then wanted me to go to my computer and work on it with him while he was on the line. I told him that my computer was not accessable at the time. He then asked if he can call me back later in the day when it is. He said that he will call me back around 9 PM tonight. I think that he is lying and misrepresenting himself. When he calls, there is no name under the call display. How am I supposto know who this guy is? He could be trying to hack into my computer for all I know. I will also be notifying Microsoft about these guys.

They call and tell you your computer has been sending out spam emails. I****ume this is a lead in to harvesting your email address or selling you a software package. I simply called him on his bu***hit about getting my number through my IP and I was disconnected.

These call 4037709300 keeps on calling my house everyday for the 3-5 times. answered it, they ask man or lady in the house. ask why? they said nothing. **** off. who is that owner? insult people is a***n law!!!warning you. STOP CALL!!!

Everyday Asian speaking people are calling me about Recycling and that is all I understand. I ask to be removed from the call list and the next day they call a***n !!! There is so****ing about people just working for a living BUT you are paid to THINK TOO you bunch of IDIOTS.

This person calls me on my cell, and does not speak - just holds the line constantly. When I am trying to call back, the line is busy. Very annoying.

These ppl keep on calling my house everyday for the past week during work hours asking for the man of the house and if I say nom then they ask for the women. I ask if they want to leave a message, then the man said he'll call back and I got angry and told him no they keep on calling me and he deined it. I keep on telling them to stop calling me but they wont. If you try to dail the number you get no ring tone then the line goes dead.

This person calls and asks for the man or lady of the house constantly.

The caller left no voice message.
