Anonymous I've only had my cel number with FIDO and ROGERS and I got a call from this number as well. Supposedly it's a scam saying you qualified for $3000 travel dollars with either Rogers or Telus..

Anonymous Maybe Telus Should stop selling its customers numbers to said telemarketers?­ They don`t just obtain random cell phone numbers by luck my cell is not registered through anyone but Telus used for nothing more then text messages i have a home bell phone for everything else! Which leaves only one way to obtain this information! ­ TELUS SELLS YOUR NUMBERS

lady i got the call they said "u are a valued canadian tire customer, press 1 to get $3000 travel dollars to cacun mexico" i pressed 1 and spoke to a guy and he started to explain 2 adults and 2 children they pick us up from airport and we get 40% off any excursions, then he asked what i do when i traveld, i said i dont travel and he hung up....whatever

Brit I got a call from this number about 40 minutes ago... i didnt recognize the number, so i didnt answer it, and decided to look up the number.

They had called me before and used a different number.  I tried to do a reverse number look up and the number doesn't exist....surprise suprise....

Missed the call to my cell phone.  No voice message.I signed up for Canada's "No Call" list a while back (including my cell number) - that was dumb.  Now I understand that the "No Call" list is widely disseminated and misused.  During the 10 years I have this cell number, I've never received unsolicited calls on my cell phone before signing up to this "No Call" list.

I have Telus too. I have had few obsurd calls like this one and I would respect it if Telus WOULDN'T sell my number to third party members. I have pay-as-you-go phone; therefore ONLY use to text message friends as well. I never give out this number for anything.

i got a call from 403-986-8989, i just moved from alberta so i knew that the area code was from around calgary! i missed the call and no vm was left, when i tried to call them back it said there was some sorta error! but now i want to know who this is!!

Just got a cool from them at noon. No idea where 403 area code was, so I didn't pick up. How do they get my number? I've never used my phone for anything except to text with friends.

I'm with Bell Mobility and they just called me too.  However I missed the call and haven't gave my phone number out, nor did I put it on the don't call list.My guess is a random dialer system at work.

Please stop using our phone number for random lies, travel points, awards etc information and winnings that will never actually happen

i am not annoyed 3 calls from 403 986 8989. don't b annoyed. these people obviously are illiterate, dumb and mute. when u pick up they don't answer or don't leave messege. they have ã ****ty job and want the rest of the world to be miserable like them. misery loves company. they'll call u regardless if ur # is listed on the do not call. jus shows they will do anything to get to you. lesson: education is important so u don't end up with ã lowlife pathetic job annoying ppl for ã living. I pity those ppl. if all those foolish telemarktrs make something of their lives we wouldn't b online searching for who called.

yeah i got the same thing today called me saying i won $2100 in travel dollars press 1 to claim, was on hold for 3 seconds and talked to some foreign guy, who told me that i must be 23 years of age to claim it, which makes no sense.. I'm 22 but 21 is the adult standard for anywhere in the world, 18 in canada right? also a red deer number for nyone who didn't know
